Awesome runs, not crowded, and the Falcon SuperChair was a one of the fastest lifts in Breck. However this is mainly all Black Diamond terrain, so you must be an avid skier to enjoy Peak 10.

Peak 10 is a great place to ski for advance/intermediate skiers. The lift lines are short and the terrain is fun. People tend to stay away from Peak 10 because most of the slope are rated Black Diamond...but if they are groomed the slopes are closer to a Blue.

We spent half our day at Peak 9 & 10. If I could've endured more, we would have spen the entire day there. It was the most challenging area of our trip and the conditions were the best of the mountain considering the lack of snow.

I highly recommend venturing over to this area of the resort. There were at least four good black diamond runs that were more like Blue-Black, and did not have moguls on them. They were Crystal, Centennial, Doublejack and Cimarron. This area tends to be less crowded as you can use the Falcon Lift without much wait. However, on MLK weekend, it still got packed on Saturday, no surprise given the amount of people at the resort in general. Still, its a good place to escape a lot of the crowd and do some good skiing.

go earlier in the morning and you will catch the best skiing conditions, variety of trails to choose from and avoid crowds. Trails are wide and even when a lot of people hit the slopes there is still plenty of space left.
