My family and I recently traveled to Breckenridge for Christmas and deceided to rent our skis, poles and shoes from Blue River Sports and were more than impressed! My 9 year old daughter was suffering from altitude sickness when we had to get fitted for our boots and skiis, and the staff there (we dealt with Brian who was sooo kind) was so helpful. They were overly nice, understanding and sympathetic to my daughter and let her sit down to be fitted and reassured us that she would be o.k. in the store while they waited on us. I would recommend them to anyone, as their customer service was outstanding, which is a rarety these days. Thanks again!

The service and equipment at Blue River Sports is amazing. We had an extremely large group and we all arrived on different days. We all experienced the exact same thing... quick service, great prices, and knowledgeable staff.

A couple of things stood out. When our family was getting set up they did not have any boots left in my son's size. An employee asked the owner/manager what he should do and he said if they have a reservation they don't leave without equipment and then proceeded to pull a brand new pair of snowboard boots off the shelf for him, amazing!
We even had one boarder that had to switch from goofy to regular and back again. They made the adjustments quickly and were happy to do so. One skier only made it out one day and upon returning the equipment got a credit for the remaining days with no problem at all. If we return to Breckenridge we will definately use them again.

Have rented from a variety of ski shops in the Frisco/Dillon area for my kids who are strong intermediate skiers, but this year tried Blue River Sports. Why? In year's past when I rented 'performance' gear from other shops it was a mishmash of old Salomon boots and K2 'whatever' skis that didn't seem all that different from the standard recreational package. At Blue River, when you rent 'performance' you really do get better gear and they took the time to actually measure my kid's feet and get them into proper fitting boots. The staff was courteous and got us in and out in no time (admittedly it was late season). The cost is very reasonable (10% online discount and book 4 days, get the 5th day free) particularly considering they deliver quality gear that made my kids skiing experience all the better. Would highly recommend checking them out.
