Super convenient to the base of Peak 9. Our equipment rental was half the price of another rental company close by. Very friendly staff and great quality equipment!

This was our first time renting from blue river and couldn't have been happier. We switched from and on site rental company at our condo and are happy we did so. Super helpful and patient. Never felt rushed and the rates were great.

Did some research on ski rental in Breckenridge for our family trip. Found Blue River Sports and used their website. It's a local ski shop rather than a chain and the variety of discounts they offered resulted in ski hire up to $20 cheaper than some of the chains. Picked the skis up today. Both the children and I have top of the range models, with skis matching our particular preferences and my wife has the skis for her more laid back approach. The staff were very attentive, courteous and had deep technical knowledge as well as being incredibly slick, getting six people through a variety of boot fittings and ski set ups in about 20 mins.

Having tried the skis out this afternoon they are obviously well maintained and frequently waxed - how often have you had hire skis with blunt edges that don't run ? I have been very impressed with the quality of equipment for hire, the service - even by American standards - and the staff - and the open offer to change my skis as frequently as I want to try other brands/models/types. I wish all ski hire shops were like this.
