I am not in the generation that writes OMG, but OMG. Belle V provides Michelin 3 star food at reasonable prices. We had the scallops which were excellent, but the sauce was beyond description. We enjoyed the duck which was tender and flavorful, duck rillettes, and leek salad. Each dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. A comment on their Facebook page said "the best new restaurant in Breckinridge." Wrong, it is the best restaurant in Breckenridge. Chef and owner Stefan has selected and nurtured a very special staff. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent food - we had a big group so tried most of the menu and every single thing was great. Highlights were the lamb, scallops, escargot, mushrooms. Could have just sat and dipped bread in the various sauces for hours. Food comes out in whatever order it comes out. Portion sizes were great for sharing - a few bites each. Pretty good ambiance, even when crowded. Service was attentive, but they need more support servers (e.g., water, clearing plates etc). Our waitress was trying to do it all, and while she was a great waitress she couldn't keep up.

We did not know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. They specialize in small to medium sized dishes and encourage you to try several of them. We did that and loved everything we ate. This was probably our best meal in Breckenridge.

Excellent, excellent!! Had a quick bite tonight after our ski day and couldn't have been happier. The scallops, mussels, steak au poivre (the BEST), and frites were prepared superbly. Cozy ambiance and friendly staff were an added bonus. Thank you for the lovely evening!

Recently, my wife and I dined at Belle V. The concept of small French plates is intriguing. This was similar to a tapas restaurant but serving French food rather than Spanish food. We started with a Leek salad consisting of roasted leeks , pork belly lardons, fried avocado and goat cheese. This was very flavorful. From the Land as noted on the menu, we enjoyed the Canard a la Provencal and the Cote de Porc et Champignons. The former was a Seared Duck Breast served with a Blueberry-Port Reduction and the latter was Dry Aged Pork Chop accompanied by a Wild Mushroom, Triple Brie and Mustard Cream sauce. Both of these dishes were outstanding.
Since the food is served in a random fashion, I would recommend that you order starters initially, and order more dishes after you finish your starters. Service was reasonable since the wait staff was busy serving so many dishes. Finally, the wine list should have more French wines to select from. In summary, Belle V has great promise and with a few little tweaks should develop into a must try restaurant in Breckenridge.
