This is a good place for happy hour. Beer is cheap and appetizers are buy one get one 1/2 off. The crab cakes are the best!

Thank cful

There aren't a ton of options in Breck, so you'll likely end up here anyway. An old school bar with a feel to match. Not a ton of space, and a local favorite makes it a little cramped but it adds to the atmosphere. The beer/drink selection is nothing to write home about and I was a little dissapointed with the lack of local beers.

Enter through the bar next doors into the old saloon... Chili was quite nice, nachos were a mountain of food... if you don't expect more than the usual pub food, everything it quite nice, staff very friendly.

We stopped in for lunch when we got to town while waiting for our condo to be ready. It's a cool old building on Main Street that they are NOT trying to change which is great. They has drink and domestic beer specials even at 1:30 - but aim not a PBR or Bud light fan. They had Fat Tire and 90 Schilling on tap so that worked out. There are pool tables and some games I the back to amuse yourself if you want, we sat at a window table to people watch. We got the nachos which were ok though a strange cheese sauce mix which my brother and husband liked but I was not a fan - though I did like e grilled onions and peppers that were different from most. Nice spot but definitely a bar with expected food choices

The gold pan is a local dive bar. Been there for like 150 years. There is one of these places in almost every ski town. If you like dressing down as much as possible and drinking in an old cowboy bar with noone in a fur, the gold pan is your nugget
