Three old friends went to Jill's on a Friday, for the Mediterranean vegetarian buffet. We went early at 11:30, and it wasn't crowded. Within 30 minutes though, the place filled rapidly--reservations are important here. Our server suggested that if we liked the looks of a certain dessert on the buffet, that we take it back to our table first thing, as the desserts were popular and our preference might not be available at the end of our meal. The choices were wonderful: a curry soup, a tomato bisque, a roasted vegetable sandwich on crusty bread, roasted veggies and penne, an assortment of pizzas with (I think) goat cheese rather than mozzarella and vegetable toppings, salads like forbidden rice, spinach & dried fruits, an assortment of field greens, orzo, or build your own salad. The food was beautiful, fresh and delicious. We all loved Jill's, thought the buffet price was a bargain ($12), the food excellent, and the surroundings elegant (but not pretentious). I will definitely return.
