Spectacular from the moment I arrived! The innkeeper Gary Hardin greeted me with a warm smile, and eyes that said I was welcome, and appreciated. The room was bright and cheery. Lots of pillows, and a large, very comfortable bed. I slept wonderfully both my nights there. There were large, beautifully scented bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body gel, and body lotion that I would typically expect to find at one of the Five Star Hotels that I frequent. And lets not forget the food. Both breakfasts were sublime. Fresh, homemade organic foods that wildly exceeded my expectations! But what sets the Briar Rose apart from any bed and breakfast that I've ever stayed at is that hard to put into words intangible...it's "feel". It felt soulful beyond words; and I will always stay there when I am visiting Boulder. I cannot wait to return so that I can eat more of their scrumptious food, visit with their warm staff, and stay at a place where I know that I am both welcome and appreciated.
