“Unique and delicious latin american food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

Aji is one of our favorite local restaurants, and I often bring out of town guests here. The menu is long and full of interesting options -- this is not a Tex-Mex place! Rather, the food is inspired by the cuisine of countries throughout central and south america, and is fresh and flavorful. I love the ceviches, the empanadas are a yummy indulgence, and their soups and salads are interesting and flavorful. The happy hour is a great deal, and the kids menu is more interesting than the usual fare. Try it! You won't be disappointed!

“A wonderful combination of flavors of Latin American foods.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

A wonderful combination of unique flavors of Latin American foods. The food is colorfully presented and well served. The Aji (chilli) from Peru is brought in frequently but most of the vegetables are grown on their local farm. I had Feijoada Brasilena at $19 which was
chorizo, pork belly, braised pork cheeks, black beans, white rice, braised greens, farofa, fresh orange. It was especially delicious.

“Ourstanding service, excellent mojito and empanadas, and 5 star ceviche”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

Stephan, my waiter, was right on the money with his suggestions. The mojitowas a black and blue made with crushed blackberriesand blueberries soaked in rum i believe. It was terrific. The empenadas were wonderful creations. And the lobster and banana ceviche with plantain chips were superb. Ambience was perfect. I cannot say enough positive things about this place and the service!

“Attention foodies”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

With Jaime, a truly accomplished chef who has an amazing touch, Aji is a palate-pleasing experience (mushroom or poblano empanadas highly recommended as well as the shrimp and talapia soft taquitos;aromatic chile jam pairs well with the calamari). The happy hour visit was enhanced by several Pisco sours reminiscent of authentic Peruvian drinks...kudos to the bartender. Our knowledgeable waiter provided not only exemplary service but also a personal touch with explanations of the dishes. For dessert, the warm almond tort with creamy gelato was surprisingly delicate. All in all, a Boulder dining highlight, reasonably priced, where you want to savor both time and flavors.

“Good happy hour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2013

I often stop by for a Happy Hour, on a nice day, when you can sit outside. The happy hour menu is tasty and you can have a nice snack ( I call it a meal) and a pint after a hike for about $10.
