“A great way to introduce your child/teenager to Shakespeare.”
Reviewed June 16, 2013

For the past two years we have attended five performances of Shakespeare plays and one adaptation of Treasure Island. Every one could have been presented at any theater in the US to rave reviews. The set designs, choreography, music and performances have been absolutely first class. Treasure Island and A Midsummer Night's Dream were attended by many children from 8 to 18, and they remained enraptured throughout the performances. Now that we have moved to Colorado we won't miss any of these wonderful presentations.

“Don't miss this”
Reviewed June 16, 2013 via mobile

Awesome production in a fantastic atmospheric setting! Loved Bottom especially the London accent. Very comfortable venue, the seats provided were a great addition. Seen this play many times before although my first in the US and it compared really well. A talented cast that worked hard to create a brilliant nights entertainment...... Don't miss out, book now! I'm going to check out Macbeth next.

“A Boulder Tradition”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

Watching Shakespeare under the stars in a beautiful red flagstone outdoor theater in the summertime. What's not to love? Did you know that William Shatner was an avid fan of our Shakespeare Theater for many years?

“Outdoor Theater. A Great Summer Evening Activity”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

With both student and professional actors in an intimate outdoor theater, the shows are well produced. Low ticket prices. A stroll thru CU Campus before the show is well worth it as well

If you like theater, you will love the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. It is on the campus of CU Boulder, the performances are great, as is the sets, costumes and audience. Always memorable, if you have the ability to catch any of these shows, do yourself the favor!
