“Great area for students”
Reviewed June 11, 2012

since this area is in the center of campus it is a great area for students and young people to grab a bite to eat or see a concert.

“Don't miss awesome shopping spots on The Hill when visiting Boulder”
Reviewed January 12, 2012

I think that a lot of people visiting Boulder overlook The Hill and head straight to Pearl St when looking for a day of shopping and eating. The Hill is an area that is definitely worth checking out. There are great stores like PosterScene.com and Meow Meow that are locally owned and one of a kind and great restaurants like The Sink, Pickled Lemon and Cafe Aion that you aren't going to find anywhere else. It's a small, yet historical piece of Boulder that shouldn't be missed.

“Typical mixed-use area on the fringe of a large western state university campus.”
Reviewed January 9, 2012

This neighborhood, along the western edge of the University of Colorado, has shops along and just off Broadway, and housing farther away from the campus. It's fairly typical of the commercial areas that commonly abut an edge of a large public university in a western state. I wouldn't call this a tourist destination - and perhaps CU students might say similarly.
