First half hour is the hardest, then the trail seems to become easier and not so tiring! Take lots of water!

We hiked the well-worn trail between Flatiron1 and 2. Fairly strenuous climb for the average flatlander like me, but we made it to the top and enjoyed the wonderful rock formations as the fog gently floated in....will savor this hike for a long time : )

We had a very nice walk up the trail to the first and second Flatiron. There are great views of Boulder all along the way. This is an excellent walk that could be tailored to anyone's fitness level or time restrictions. For added joy, ride a bike through the picturesque neighborhood on the way to the trailheads.

Took a half day to hike this area-no disappointments. Trails were well marked and challenging. Parking was accessible - but can fill up fast. Met two park rangers who were extremely helpful and informative. Beautiful views of Boulder and the area-will visit again upon my return.

challenging and not too long- good hype for someone in good shape-lots of rocks and boulders, better to wear hiking shoes. Rapid, steep climb.
