“Top notch beer, excellent atmosphere.”

This place was my favorite in Denver/Boulder. You just can't top their brews, and it's a pretty great value when you order a sampler. Can't wait to go back!

“Some of the best beer I have drunk”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

As I live in England I am a fan of English real ales and hve drunk beers throughout Europe including Belgium and Germany at bars and beer festivals, but I can state that the beers from this little brewery rate as some of the best beers I have ever drunk. The range in the brewery tap is superb with not a bad beer amongst them and some of the higher end special beers are almost impossible to describe the complexity of the flavours that have somehow been brewed into them. The food served here is of a high quality and reasonably priced pub type food, substantial, tasty and filling, but it is the beer that makes this place worth the trip.
If you like beer and are in Boulder then it is well worth going out of the way for, even if in Denver and you can’t find any then it is well worth making the trip to Boulder to sample these beers. Next time I am in the ares I would plan a trip to this bar without hesitation.

“OK food and value. Great beer, vibe, and service”
Reviewed June 15, 2012

People probably come here mainly for the beer. As the tap room of one of the country's best small breweries, that should not be a surprise. We also came here for the food. Food was not so special (or as great value) as the beer, but was OK, if a bit more expensive than need be. We split a pizza and a Cuban sandwich. Both were 20-50% more expensive than comparable places. Basically, the food permitted us to enjoy the great beer and tap room atmosphere without leaving to eat.

“Great Beer, Good Food”
Reviewed June 14, 2012

The beer and service were simply outstanding. There is something for everybody. It was well worth the 1 hour drive from Estes Park. I ordered the pesto chicken pizza and it was nothing special. But, I was there for the beer. I was there on a Thursday night and it was not too crowded - I found a seat at the bar. A local told me the place can be packed on weekends.

“Avery's Tap Room Among the Best in the Industry”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

Colorado is lucky to have many craft breweries, each with their own character and style of beer. Fortunately for Boulder, we have one of the best right in town. It's a little off the beaten path (for now at least, their new restaurant will be HUGE!) but it's worth finding. They sell samples for $1 each and tap a new beer every Friday! All tasty, with anything from their IPA to tap-room-only exclusives. They recently updated their menu too, so you can get some nachos with your favorite beverage ;) Cheers!
