Zolo's Grill in Boulder sits in a prime location in the heart of Boulder. This fun, upscale, trendy Southwestern Grill is delightful with warm friendly service and ambiance.

It was packed on the Friday night we went, but we had reservations and got right in. As busy as they were the staff was friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. The food and margaritas were outstanding as well as a delicious and reasonably priced Tempranillo wine that came recommend by our waitress. The guacamole was delicious.

The menu is not huge but the options are interesting, tasty and well prepared. We will definitely go back. One tip...make a reservation. It is a popular spot.

We ordered a glass of wine and a Manhattan at the outset. The Manhattan was one of the poorest we've tried in years. Very watered down and served in a tiny glass. For a supposed upscale restaurant, this was very disappointing. The wine was fine. The menu is not extensive enough to bring us back again. The food we ordered was reasonable, but not memorable.

Zolo was right beside our hotel, so after arriving in Boulder late, dropped in. Was pleasantly surprised with menu, no commoner garden burger and chips amen. After leaving Colorado Springs with not a decent dinner enjoyed, it was great to see sweet potato chips, my son 15 loves them, flash fried greens, lovely and reasonable healthy, steak marinaded and tuna cooked to perfection. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Delicious! Busy place. Price point is a bit on the high side but admittedly, the dishes are unique. Guac was disappointing - just a bunch of mashed up avocado chunks with very little flavor. Did I miss something?
