“The best in Boulder”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2012 via mobile

Took my daughter and her husband and they had a ball. My favorite restaurant in Boulder. Fun, fresh and fabulous. Great wine list, and always a fresh and exciting menu.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2012

Had lunch for the first time here, and the food was incredible. I had a roast beef sandwich, and every part of it was a delight. My wife (who doesn't normally eat beef) tried it and commented how good it was. The service was friendly and helpful. Lots of little touches in the atmosphere of the restaurant made the experience quite enjoyable. Local ingredients too! I don't live in the area, but if I am ever nearby, I'll defiantly come back.

“Great Lunch place, worth the wait”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2012 via mobile

Stopped off in Bolder for quick day trip. Funny policy around walk-in reservations--namely they "think it will be 20 min" but if it runs over the 2:00pm lunch end time, we are not guaranteed a table." Felt weird, like we were kinda in, but kinda not. We decided to wait. They got us in "at the wire" and the food was worth it. Curry chicken was well portioned and tasty. Veggie sandwich was excellent and the roast beef sandwich was generous and delicious. French fries were fresh cut and excellent. Would return, but this time with a night time reservation "well within the end zone".

“Incredible Food, Long Wait”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2012

Perhaps the problem with The Kirchen is that the food is too tantalizing. On a recent Thurs. night they were slammed. Our server was awesome, apologized for the long wait on our entrees. And the manager even poured us a free glass of wine. What a nice gesture; one I've never experienced. When our entrees arrived they made up for the delay. Pork with a cherry finish had an unbelievable flavor. And the halibut swam in a light broth that begged to be sopped up with bread. The beet salad featured sweet beets, garden tender, the tomato soup also pleased the palate. Go to the Kitchen and hope they are busy. You might get free wine too!
