As a Boulder resident, I think Brasserie Ten Ten is one of our best restaurants. It has the right combination of great food and wines, energizing atmosphere, buzzing bar scene, and savvy wait staff. The brique poulet is a cravable entree.

It's consistently busy so a good option if you don't have a reservation and you have a small group is to wait by the bar and scoop up one of the high-top tables in the entry way.

In the summer, enjoy one of the outdoor tables.

Located one block south of the famous Pearl Street in Boulder, this restaurant which features French cuisine achieves a high rating for excellent preparation and outstanding presentation. Service is average, partially due to the crowded dining room where tables are so closely situated that you can reach out and touch the diners at the next table. As you might expect, the noise level is extremely high due to the crowding. Add to that hard surfaces that make the sound bounce and the decibels are very high. Everyone was yelling across the table to be heard by the others in their party. If you like a high intensity environment, you won't mind and the food really was great! We'll try it again in hopes of dining at a slower time (were were there at 6:30 on a Thursday night) when there might be fewer people and less noise.

I have eaten here for special reasons and just because for many years. Brasserie Ten Ten keeps a good balance of menu favorites and new ideas; it is never pretentious or unnecessarily trendy. A good atmosphere, professional and welcoming waitstaff, I hope to be back soon. Now, there is this problem with noise, particularly when the restaurant fills up, which is often.

Great place for Happy Hour drinks and food. Great spot also for lunch and dinner. You are near the walking downtown mall.

Brasserie Ten Ten in Boulder is my favorite place for Sunday Brunch, unless I have the opportunity to fly over to Paris for the weekend. While I'm waiting, I can be quite content with a superb dining experience a la francaise at the Brasserie. It's elegant, with white tablecloths and fresh flowers on the tables. The service is excellent and the restaurant is bright and airy. It's a very popular place so make reservations ahead of time because it fills up completely. Ask for a table by the window if you want to have a quieter experience.

Start out with a cup of their strong coffee and pair it with a buttery croissant, or some luscious beignets . All the brunch entrees are delicious, but I have found that the egg dishes are especially satisfying. They also include a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and seafood for those people who are ready for lunch. The last time I was there, some very well-behaved, dressed-up 5 year-old girls were celebrating a birthday, charming everyone at the restaurant with their princess manners. In the mountain town of Boulder, where black fleece is considered dressy, it's nice to have Paris on a plate.
