Maybe it is great to watch them process the tea, but we went on a Saturday and they weren't working....which would have been totally fine and entertaining with what was there, except our guide kept saying "I know this is boring right now," or "usually we are doing interesting things". What questions were asked got responses like, "I don't know...they are machines." Loved the mint room, being on the factory floor and seeing products from all over the world, and the history. There is a great mile long path around the factory where you can see feisty prarie dogs up close. A great side trip for the college tourist.

It was great to see the inner-workings of a production factory. This location makes all of the Celestial Seasonings Tea in the world. We got a free one-hour tour with a knowledgeable guide and got to see tons of ingredients, some robots and the mint room.

Learn all about the amazing process of making tea! Celestial Seasonings offers a great tour that brings guests onto their factory floors. You can also taste test a myriad of teas before/after the tour. Of course, they end the tour in their gift shop. But they are selective about the quality of goods they sell. Great for families, but note children must be at least 5 to go on the full tour.

Have you ever wanted just to taste one of the teas from Celestial Seasonings? then that alone could motivate you to stop out and visit this place. We waited just 30 mins and tasted to our hearts delight and then took the tour. Afterwards, the gift shop sells all the teas and more products.
This was fun and interesting too. I would go again.

The Celestial Tea Factory is a great tourist attraction. Free tour... free taste-testing... informative historic movie... educational tour... cafe... fun gift items and all the tea you can imagine in the gift shop.

The factory tour is actually very interesting. Most impressive is the automation, colorful branding/signage, heavenly aroma, ingredients from around the world and that fact that they ship to 30 countries worldwide.

Our coffee drinkers were so impressed and educated that they bought tea to try at home.
