The company has a beautiful Visitors Center and offers a very nice tour, tasting area, cafe and gift shop. The tour started out with a movie which was very informative. Our group was small which made it very easy to go through the factory. I learned so much on this tour. When they say the tasting is bottomless, they mean it. You cna have as many samples of teas as you wish. The gift shop is excellent. They present other uses for their teas other than just drinking it. Very many theme related items also and accompaniments. Be aware that children under 5 are not allowed on the tour.

We spent a morning here and had a fun time and good learning experience. Tours are free and occur frequently throughout the day. While waiting you can taste a variety of hot and cold teas and explore exhibits and pictures about Celestial Seasonings, which started in Boulder in 1969. The tour is fairly short (45 minutes) but takes you through the entire process. The tour guide was friendly and responsive to all our questions. Great for kids! The gift shop (where you wind up at the end of the tour, of course) is terrific, not overpriced, and filled with a wonderful selection of teas and other items. A great way to spend a few hours!

Eclectic artwork of the many boxes available for viewing; great tea samples, interesting short movie on the history of the company.

I visited Celestial Seasonings to take the factory tour and it is a very tourist-friendly facility. The visitor's center has free tea tastings of literally every flavor they have--if it's not 'on tap' then they make you a fresh cup. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

The tour itself was in my opinion above average. You get to see this 24/7 producing tea company in full swing along with learning some helpful tea tidbits. There was a lot of admonishing of staying within the yellow lines. I have been on other factory tours that basically say the same thing, but never with quite the stress of this tour--so that was my only annoyance.

Their cafe was also well-rounded and worth a trip if you're hungry, but from what I gathered their 'grill' closes at 2pm.

Also, I didn't have a car and had to take mass transportation. I took the BOLT bus (from Boulder to Longmont) and I have to say it was quite the walk to get to the factory as it's somewhat awkwardly nestled in a residential neighborhood. For those driving cars I think the access is quite straightforward and easy from Hwy 119.

I hope you enjoy your trip!

Factory tour of tea production held on the hour during the weekdays. If you arrive early, you can sample various teas (hot and cold) in the cafe or browse the gift shop. Taught me a lot about tea including the difference between regular tea and herbal tea. Enjoyed the mint room and gave me a new appreciation for tea. Interesting for adults who like to drink tea.
