This was literally a mom and pop place when they first opened, both would be in back cooking when we came in. Food is served on stainless trays like thali is served in India, food was good for the price. And it was fast. They've expanded, hired cooks, staff, etc., so it seems more sterile or soul-less now, but food is still good and a better deal than most Indian restaurants around. Not India "cheap," but cheaper than other local Indian places. And they use a good basmati rice, not the cheap white, tasteless stuff. Let's hope they keep up their same way and don't go the path of chasing profit margins (the death of quality the world-over!)

good food here -- standard northern indian. I've only been there for lunch, cause they don't have a liquor license and I really want a beer w/ my indian at dinner.
The distinguishing thing from all the other indian lunch buffets, is that this one isn't a buffet. You can order from a set of 3 or so entrees and they give you a plate w/ that entree, pakoras or some other app, bread and indian dessert. I always have left overs -- it's too much to eat for lunch.

So, it's good. There are always good veg choices. They don't have beer. It can get crowded at lunch.

Family owned, and you can tell! The food tastes like what you would expect if you were visiting an Indian household - delicious and high quality. The portions are huge and the service friendly. Love it!
