“Tasty little hole in the wall”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

Mediocre service and a cafeteria type atmosphere, but tasty food! Order at the counter then take a seat. Mango lassi was good, food flavorful and rich.

“The place was busy”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

I've only been there once and had their chicken curry. It was OK, but not great. There was no shortage of chicken and they do make excellent rice, but the sauce was a little thin and lacked that classic Indian curry flavor. It was standing room only when I was there, and people were enjoying the food. Know what you want, or guess and be happy. The menu is a little confusing and those not familiar with Indian food may need a little help. The place isn't big or fancy, but it's good.

“Good flavors, great price, little room”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

This is the best place to eat Indian food in Boulder, and the prices are more affordable than others. Which means we travel from South Boulder ignoring the Indian restaurants closest to us and those along the way. The staff are lovely, food fantastic but they need much more room ! they are crowded with a long line most nights at peak times. But the dishes are excellent. Child friendly, diverse atmosphere, mostly clean. Expand please but keep the cooks, and the quality of dishes.

“Impressive Indian Cuisine!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

I can't say that I'm a big fan of Indian Cuisine, but this place may just change that. We went for lunch on Sunday and all three of us were very impressed with the taste and quality of the food we ordered. The naan bread was extremely tasty. Very nice! And the dishes we got were all excellent -- we shared them equally between us and not a one was sub-par. All in all, for the price of $7.95 it was well worth it. We'll most definitely be visiting this place again.

You order from the counter when you first come in, and then find a place to sit. The service is not like a regular sit-down-restaurant, of course, but at the end of the meal the owner came and had a chat with us, and was looking for feedback on what we thought of the food and overall experience.

“Quick Indian food”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

I liked how fast the service was initially, but once you ordered it was difficult to get any additional service. It was crowded and all of the empty tables needed to be cleaned. It was self serve for tableware and napkins, which I don't mind, but the tableware and napkin bins were empty. The food looked great, but the sauces relied too heavily on salt for flavor. It was not the usual well blended variety of spices you would expect of Indian food.
