Second time we've visited this year while vacationing. It's not within walking distance of anything but strip shopping centers. It is within easy driving distance of old town and dozens of top flight craft breweries and their tasting rooms or restaurants.

Could not get my rental truck into their underground parking facility

Rooms are probably due for an update. Bed is comfortable and the location is great for exploring Boulder and further afield. Hotel itself is just kind of average. Nothing bad, but nothing really good either. The restaurant has good food, those service can be a bit slow at times.

There's a great Sprouts grocery store right around the corner on foot from the hotel. Very handy.

Girls trip to Boulder and Marriott was a great location. Walk to Zolo Grille, The Buff and many other eats. Walk to McGuckins (a must) and Lily's (yoga, handmade and earth friendly stuff). Spa next door looked nice. One block walk from Home Goods

Lobby bar was nice. Large tables and alcoves for quiet company or a pool table for a bit of fun.

Room tip: Rooms on the back can see the mountains.

Location, outside, and common areas nice. Room was the worst we ever had at a Marriott. Carpet had several stains, mattress was terrible, bed was never maid when we left room, TV was small and kept dimming to dark to black...for the price an exceptional poor value

I now know there was a reason that this hotel had availability at the last minute. We wanted to explore the mountains and canyons outside of Boulder and this location was very convenient. The cons are $16.00 a night for underground parking. Two major construction sites right out front of the hotel, any view is obstructed by cranes.Do not pay for the breakfast buffet, same thing every day and not worth the money you pay. No in room fridge no ability to keep drinks cold or buy a picnic lunch to take out to the mountains. The one nice thing was it's location to many restaurants all within walking distance. This is a good thing because traffic was a bear and college wasn't even in session yet.
