I gave this hotel a great review 5 months ago, however my experience this time was not good. My room was not serviced once during a three night stay, had to call the front desk to get hot water in the shower, the toilet seat was chipped.... All in all the standard seemed to have slipped quite a bit since my last visit...

Room Tip: Don't choose room 226, it is right by the Elevator and noisy...

Convenient location in Boulder – less than one mile to the University of Colorado, 1.5 miles to Pearl Street Mall and only one block off U.S. 36. Note that the hotel sits about a half-block back off of Canyon Boulevard.

Staff was welcoming and helpful at check-in and throughout our stay.

The room contained two queen beds that were comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep and a work desk with chair. View overlooked IHOP and some other commercial establishments. Room and property were clean and well-maintained.

Parking is in a garage under the building at a cost of $12 night

My husband and I stayed here in July after cancelling our reservation at the Residence Inn. The staff here was sooo wonderful and friendly! Sean showed us a room then moved some things around to make sure we got the room we looked at... great view of the Flat Irons from the 4th floor! Nice concierge lounge, Val at the bar downstairs was just great (super friendly and never stopped moving and cleaning), and Sean and Dean at the front desk were always helpful with restaurant and activity suggestions! Nice little shopping area right behind the hotel and less than a mile and a half to Pearl Street. A great evening was spent on an outdoor patio area on the fifth floor with a bottle of wine and some snacks just looking at the Flat Irons.

The hotel is located in a strip mall and somewhat hard to find. The front desk staff was friendly, but the lobby was dark, small and uninviting. The rooms and parking is overpriced for what you get. To me it had the feeling of a 2 or 3 star hotel.
However, the rooms were clean and had the usual Marriott amenities, so no issues there.

Really nice hotel. Staff always greeted us which is a plus. Price for the value is too much. The parking cost should be illegal. Just another way to take more out of our pocket, though from driving around the city for 4 days, it must be the Boulder way-- $12.00 per day for parking at a hotel we paid over $220 a night when there is plenty of parking outside??

We justed return from Colorado. We stayed at the Boulder Marriott for 3 days. The experience from check in to check out was wonderful. The front desk staff was very imformative and suggested places to have dinner and day trips around the area. Pearl Street is great to walk around during the day and night. The concierge level was very good for breakfast and snacks.
We were taking a late flight back home and were allowed to have a late check out without any problems. I would definitely stay there the next time I am in Boulder.

July 2013. A trip to Boulder with an elderly friend. Reserved a handicapped room for shower accessibility. Room was good, although the shower was in need of an update. The problem was that the room was almost as far away from the elevator as it could be. This made it very difficult for my friend who is ambulatory, but slow and unsteady. The desk people were friendly and helpful. Check-in and out was a breeze. The restaurant is average. Okay for breakfast, which was included in our room rate, but the menu is limited. Parking is not included. It was $12 dollars a day which is reasonable. They have an underground garage and a portico at the entrance of the hotel which makes it good for pick ups and drop offs in bad weather. No valet parking available. There is a bar in the lobby which serves all kinds of beverages including Starbuck's. Nice indoor pool and exercise room. The location was great, close to 36....lots of restaurants...shopping...the university....and Pearl St. I would stay here again, but WOW I hope hope they change the carpeting.....it was dizzying!!!!
