“A Good Stroll”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

Boulder Creek Path is a pretty good place for a stroll. One good point about it is that if you're not up to walking the whole path, there are ample places to park and just walk a short stretch.

Boulder Creek is a pretty creek wherever you pick to walk it. There are a couple of places where you can stand below the water level and look through glass, sometimes to see the occasional visiting trout.

One caveat: keep your eyes and ears open for bicyclists--some of them zip right past you, and not all of them advise you that they are coming.

“mixes fast cyclers with b-cycle slowbees-”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

Boulder is a great place to cycle, and we cycle a lot. However, we normally stay off of the Boulder Creek path and instead cycle on one of the many other pathways and lanes in and around the city. The reason is that the pathway is crowded with walkers, skaters, homeless people, cyclists, and numerous people who don't understand the etiquette of bicycle riding. This creates a dangerous and accident prone locality. If you are a visitor and wish to rent a bike and amble down the path, it is a great place to sight see. Just don't ever ever try to pass anyone. If you are an experienced cyclist out for a ride, there are numerous other spots.

“Creek Path is a must”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2013

You may not know it but there is a hike & bike path right in the middle of downtown Boulder! Take a stroll or rent a bike and you will find nature in the middle of the city! Amazing how fast it has been restored after the floods in September. A must see in Boulder.

“Always a pleasant stroll, jog, or bike”

After the floods I didn't know what to expect but it remained a nice way to take a brief respite in Boulder. It is always nice to see the locals and their pets enjoying the creek

“Boulder Creek path with the Boulder B-Cycles”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

I enjoyed exploring the Boulder Creek path on the Boulder B-Cycles. These cruiser bicycles are available at numerous kiosks throughout the city for a $7 access fee for a 24 hour period. You just need to check-in at one of the various kiosks every hour, otherwise you will be charged an additional fee. Maps are available at the kiosks and online, so you can map out the areas to bike. The bike trail along the creek path was very scenic, and the Boulder Creek was still a bit high. As of Oct. 10th, 2013 some parts of the trail were still closed due to flooding damage. I felt safe on this bike path...though I did see some low-life characters in certain areas, but they didn't bother me. This was a great way to explore the area. (If you have your own bike or want to walk this trail...there is no cost at all)
