I enjoyed exploring the Boulder Creek path on the Boulder B-Cycles. These cruiser bicycles are available at numerous kiosks throughout the city for a $7 access fee for a 24 hour period. You just need to check-in at one of the various kiosks every hour, otherwise you will be charged an additional fee. Maps are available at the kiosks and online, so you can map out the areas to bike. The bike trail along the creek path was very scenic, and the Boulder Creek was still a bit high. As of Oct. 10th, 2013 some parts of the trail were still closed due to flooding damage. I felt safe on this bike path...though I did see some low-life characters in certain areas, but they didn't bother me. This was a great way to explore the area. (If you have your own bike or want to walk this trail...there is no cost at all)

The trail is a unique way to see Boulder and its residents. Unfortunately, large parts of it were closed due to the recent floods, but the parts that were open were very nice. We hope to return when it's back to normal - hope that won't be too long.

Crazy cyclists rule here. It's Boulder where there are no rules if you have a bike. I will admit I've only walked a couple of miles of it.

This path would be wonderful were it not for the many homeless. As another reviewer noted, there are people openly using drugs. If this area were policed a but better it would be a great place for all.

Went to the "park" to enjoy the path and creek. What I sound was a park full of addicts and homeless setting up for the night and this was at 430pm! They were openly shooting up drugs in the park so unsafe and truly disgusting!!! Avoid this place at all costs it is a free Hotel for the transit population..
