“Boulder Creek Path/Trail: Nice, but....”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

The path meandering along Boulder Creek is quite lovely and for the most part, quiet. However, beware the crazy bicyclists as they do not let you know they are behind you and they go way to fast for this path. Also, expect to see homeless camped out. Otherwise very nice.

“Essence of Boulder”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

If you really want to know Boulder, the creek path is a good place to start. Bikes will whistle by, you will find the Boulder High kids who smoke, you'll learn where the homeless hang out, you can see tubers and kayakers, public art, a few parks (including one for our home-grown Mercury astronaut), rock climbers (if you head afar enough west)--basically a whole cross section of the community. And, frequently, this path is better plowed after storms than most of the roads in town...

Wether on foot or bike this is a wonderful path to enjoy. The creek is always running and the overall scene and feeling is very peaceful yet active.

“Why People live in Boulder!!!”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

This is a must for those who really wish to experience Boulder.....just start walking the creek...either west up the canyon...my favorite...or east and wind your way out onto the prairie areas. Or bring your tube for some splashing about, or ride your bike or roller blades.....and don't forget to bring your favorite canine buddy ......they enjoy it as much as the people!!! A blanket and a picnic basket full of goodies is a great way to enjoy the park areas around the creek too!
