Owner description: Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

“Lots of Shopping and People Watching”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

The parking situation isn't fantastic, and most of the boutiques are on the high end, but there are plenty of great places to drink and the people watching is entertaining.

Boulder has a lot going for it and the Pearl Street Mall is a great example. Clean, bustling and fun. The stores are varied and if you're looking for unique gifts, this is the place to go.

“What a Total HOOT!:”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

Saturday afternoons on the Pearl Street Mall is a not to miss experience in Boulder. Everything from tuba players to a human in a dog suit to entertain shoppers. The dog is my favorite performer. Every type of person shows up for the Saturday promenade. Fun small shops are the agenda here. There are many colorful items for sale, and to eat. There is seldom a sad face in the happy multitudes.
This was my first time there since pot was legalized in Colorado. Several people were walking in the crowd with a lit joint hanging out of their mouths. This seems rather routine now. It adds to the diversity on the Mall, and is totally harmless.
I totally look forward to my next trip to the Mall. Although I won't light up, I will truly enjoy the beautiful and fun pagentry of the Pearl Street Mall!

“Stroll and Shop - Eat/Drink - Enjoy”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

This is a great downtown Boulder shopping mall - old style. A lot of unique stores - bookstores, cafes, restaurants, art, international, eclectic, boutique stores. It is a no car area so it is easy to move along the "street mall" without fear of dodging cars. It has a lot to offer in terms of unique choices of shopping so you are bound to find something if looking for a unique or special gift for someone.
