Owner description: Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

I went on a date to the cheesecake factory and then we walked around looking at all the shops and talking. It was a great date inspired by the Pearl Street Mall. The shops helped us bring up topic conversations and learn more about eachother

“Fun, fun, fun!”

What an exciting time. There was a sidewalk sale going on at the time of our visit. Hip hop break dancers were performing and the overall feel was electric. Cool town, cool street, great time!

“Shopping & people watching”

Nice pedestrian strip with several small local businesses selling a little bit of everything: CU apparel, hippy garb, Hindu statues, shoes, artwork, kitchen/cookware, etc. Play areas for the kids, restaurants, coffee shops & many many interesting people to see.

The walking streat Pearl Street is a mall with interesting restaurant and galleries as well as shops you see in any cosmopolitan city. the pros is that it is a pleasant walk. The negative is the parking is rare or expensive

“What a Circus!!”

The mall is home to multiple buskers. Do you want to see a guy stuff himself into a plexiglass box? How about a bassoon quartet plying their trade? Jugglers? You bet. The sculptures and rocks placed on the mall are beautiful and so are the multitudes of folks strolling the mall as you sit on a convenient bench. And don't forget, every day is 4/20 in Boulder.
