“Great library system”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

Lots of books! Able to get books from other libraries in Colorado. Often look up to see what they have when I do business research or any home projects. Staff is very helpful. Love the main library. Pick up most of the books I place on hold at the Meadows library. I love the hold system... look up books online from home, order, and they email to let you know when they are ready for pick up. What a great service!

“Wonderful place to study/relax”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2013

BPL is in a wonderful, central location, down the hill from the CU main campus, and just before the "Boulder bustle" of Pearl Street. It offers good wifi, light snacks, a decent selection of books and computers, public art from children and professionals, and a myriad of activities, most of which are in the auditorium. Here I've studied, relaxed with tea, seen a wonderful documentary about Angie Zapato, heard amazing music, and performed (I'm a pianist/composer). Every experience has been memorable, and the space is fantastic.

“Best library!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

We love going to this library. The neatest thing about it is the indoor viewing bridge over the creek that connects it with the other side, which has a very well-curated art gallery. The art and architecture at the library are worth the visit, even if you don't end up checking out any books.

The only complaint that I have is that the organization of the books doesn't make any sense to me. I have to look up what I'm looking for on the computer in order to find it, where most libraries I can find the general section I'm interested in and narrow it down that way. Not a big deal though. This library has a huge selection of books, movies and cds. You can special order from any other library in Colorado, so there is very little you can't find here.
