We went here for a picnic with friends and were amazed by the peaceful scenery. The symphony was playing and we were able to enjoy the muscic for free.

Chautauqua was by far the most beautiful sight that I saw in our two week trip. I could spend all day looking at this view!

The Chautauqua experience is a cultural classic left over from an era gone by for most areas around the country. It fits perfectly in with the Boulder community and it is easy to see why it was preserved. There are concerts here and sunday brunches in the dining hall. It is a place of serenity with great views of the Flat Irons and some adjacent hiking trails that don't require a days worth of planning to map out and enjoy.
