This is the most accessible place to hike in Boulder. There are so many trails that start here, you can access most difficulty levels from a leisurely stroll to a butt-kicking hike.

We had a wonderful family picnic at Chautauqua one evening last week while visiting from out of state. The park was lush with green grass, old growth trees and plenty of picnic tables for everyone. Best part and I mean BEST part was a visit by the Sweet Cow ice cream truck. Had to be the most delicious ice cream treat ever!
