“Great local spot!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2011

We live 3 miles from last shot and have been there many times.

Each time we try something different and have yet to be disappointed! Portions are very large, soups are always amazing and delicious, sandwiches and burgers and awesome, and the pizza is great! That means a lot seeing as I grew up in Chicago!

The wait staff has been know to be pretty slow and at times even flat our short/rude, but it's worth it of you're not rushed.

Also they got rid out their super cool TouchTunes jukebox which you could play from your phone. Hopefully if enough patrons complain, they'll get another one :)

“Good food, Slow service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2011

I've lived in Gilpin County for 15 years. Since Roy took over and renamed the restaurant, he's put a lot of money into the place. Great atmosphere. The vast majority of the time, the food is very good. A few hits and misses here and there, but that's the way it is anywhere.

Unfortunately, the weak spot is the service. Don't get me wrong, the wait staff work their butts off, are friendly and they know the menu. The perennial problem is there are never enough of them!

This has been bad enough that my wife and I never go in there at peak times anymore. It's a shame, but that's life. I still recommend them, but I wish they'd find away to increase the staff.

“Not Homecookin'”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2011

The menu is so extensive anymore that nothing could possibly be very good. Half the items on the menu seem to have come straight from the freezer, or out of a can. It's disappointing that one of our local, regular eating out locations has over done themselves.

“NOT a Biker Dog Friendly Place :(”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2011

If you are riding with your Biker Dog Don't stop here, they do not welcome Biker Dogs.

They have officially made the growl list. To bad, I had heard great things about the food.

Needless to say if our Biker Dogs are not welcome we are certainly not going to spend our money there.
Watch for the happy waggin' tails list soon. We love Biker Dog Bars and Saloons

“Best fries ever, and great view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2011

We go out of our way any time we are in Colorado to visit Roy's and eat their fries. They are specially battered to make them crunchy. I recommend sitting on the covered deck!
