Description: Toscanini is nestled at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, next to the skating rink in the heart of the village. The alpine backdrop lends itself to la dolce vita, and the atmosphere is lively and informal. The cuisine is stylish and contemporary, the flavor authentically Italian. Watch our chefs prepare individual pizzas, house-made pastas, and fresh seafood in the open kitchen. Enjoy a selection from our Wine Spectator Award of Excellence Italian wine list. Our newly expanded bar and lounge is the perfect stop for cocktails, small dishes or dinner before heading down the escalators to the Vilar Center for the Arts. Toscanini is open daily at 3pm for apres and 5pm for dinner.

“Nice atmosphere, good food”

Nice Italian restaurant by the ice rink in the village. Our service was very good. The wine was good and the pasta dishes were also good. A bit pricey but overall good.

“Great experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

I took my parents who were visiting up to Toscanini for dinner and had an excellent experience. The server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. My father had the Gnochi and is more excited to come back and have it again then to see me I believe. My sister had the ribeye which was generously portion. We ended with a sorbetto/gelato combination which was my favorite part. The combination was refreshing and something they had never had before. Overall great experience and family cannot wait to return.

“Good wine, sub par pizza.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

Wine and pizza at reasonable apres ski prices. Wine was good. Although an expensive wood burning oven, the veggie and margarita pizzas had minimal sauce and cheese with little flavor. Blue Moose much better pizza. Less than enthusiastic service. Better food on previous visits. Nice ambience and bar area.

“Good Italian in the heart of Beaver Creek”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

Apparently Toscanini has a new chef and menu, although this was my first time there. I found the interior to be quite nice, this isn't fine-dining but it is one of the nicer restaurants in the heart of the village. I had the carpaccio, which was good, followed by the osso buco with saffron risotto, which was very good. The wine list was pretty strong with a wide selection of good, Italian reds at reasonable prices.

“Great gnocchi”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

Had some great gnocchi, and some mediocre European style pizza, which was actually more of a flatbread than what you would truly call a pizza. Truth be told, I did see one near our table that looked a little better, but the one ON our table had very sparse mozzarella, even for this type of pizza. Service was good, and the atmosphere was nice. Best to make a reservation, or you will have a limited chance at seating.
