Choose the 8th floor club level. Presentation of food served throughout the day beginning with breakfast... Lunch, midday snacks....hors d'oeuvres at 5 and dessert at 8. Beer, wine and premium drinks served in the beautiful club lounge where you can enjoy your food on the balcony. The staff is lowkey but extremely attentive. They will book, reserve or track down almost anythibg for you. The hotel setting is just perfectly set in and around the surrounding mountains.

We stayed at the Ritz in Beaver Creek for 3 nights in late July. From the time we arrived to the time we left we felt well taken care of, pampered and spoiled.

Room: We were on their club level, which comes with (of course) the club lounge and various amenities. All of the concierges in the club room were very attentive and welcoming. When we arrived (late evening) they offered us a glass of champagne and some dinner suggestions. We chose to grab a pizza downstairs at the Spago bar (delish!) and then enjoy some more champagne and desserts back in the club lounge. Room was spacious with a balcony and two chairs, fireplace, entryway with a stocked bar (plus coffee machine.) Bathroom was similar to other Ritz layouts - and while it is well-appointed, my one complaint would be the size of the shower...a bit small for a newer resort. Very small complaint though! Plus they were gracious enough to send me a bottle of wine for my birthday, so those small touches more than made up for any small issues.

Pool, Hot tubs: We spent one afternoon by the pool, which gets very crowded in the summertime. I realize that winter is really more of their busy season, but the pool could stand to be a little larger, with more chaise lounges. It was hard for us to find seats. The hot tubs are lovely though, nestled in between small branches from the aspen trees. Picturesque. We still enjoyed our afternoon chilling by the pool.

Spa: We did enjoy using the spa, which was available for use even if you did not book a treatment. The his/her grotto was wonderfully relaxing, and it was never crowded. We spent several hours in here each day just to unwind. Didn't have any treatments, but they looked tempting!

Club Lounge: The lounge has been recently redone/upgraded and it was beautiful. The best part was that there were several chairs/tables out on balconies so that you enjoy the wonderfully brisk and cool weather. We spent every breakfast and cocktail hour out on these balconies. They had hot breakfast items (oatmeal, bacon, sausage, eggs) plus lots of bakery items (muffins, croissants, bagels) and all the spreads. Mimosas were a favorite. Lunch items ranged from hot soups to sandwiches to chips and dip. Cocktail time usually brought out spinach dip, veggies, nuts, cheeses, and usually a few items like smoked salmon or sliced beef filet. And of course you can make yourself mixed drinks or wine. It was a tranquil atmosphere and did not ever feel crowded. (Plus the Ritz chocolate chip cookies - ahhh they get me every time!)

Activities: The resort will set you up with lots of activities like hiking, biking and white water rafting. We hiked and did a whitewater rafting trip, and enjoyed both. The resort handled everything in setting it up and it went very smoothly.

Resort grounds: Loved the fireplaces everywhere! At night they have a big fire in the pit outside and you can roast marshmallows and make s'mores. They had live music (usually an acoustic guitar) that added to the rustic mountain feel of the lodge. Loved it!

We loved our stay here. Loved how it was nestled up privately on the Mt. The rooms were impeccable, and the Hotel staff truly amazing! The only downside was we were only able to stay one night, other than that it was picture perfect! We will be back!

No doubt that it is pricey but they provide a lot! The service is very attentive. On the club level, there are 5 food presentations daily and unlimited, bottled water, wine, beer, coffee, granola bars, cookies, and candies, which are plenty to keep you from having to spend extra money at the restaurant. However, the restaurant food is outstanding! The rooms have the most abundant storage I've ever
experienced, and are spacious
and very comfortable. I would love to come back here in the winter.

Jump in your plane, car or whatever to get to this resort. They do everything right here. The rooms, gym, spa, restaurant and bar, and staff are first rate.

Where else will you find the room service menu which includes a menu for your dogs or cats? These selections look yummy!

Be forewarned if you are driving that you can miss the entrance to the resort. It is discretely tucked away from the road. At night you'll need a guide to find it!

I love the national parks and their lodges which haven't been updated since the thirties. Here you have a near replica of a national park lodge in a mountain setting resplendent in luxury and perfectly friendly and helpful staff and beautiful quiet surroundings . If you like luxury and the mountain west this is your place ESP the club level.

We spent a long weekend last July at the Ritz for a summer business meeting. The Ritz has undergone a remodel and it is just a superior hotel resort in every way. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating- from the valet, front desk, restaurants, concierge, pool- you name it. Every meal that we ate was delicious, even the banquet dinner! Convenient hiking, spa, shuttle to town, friendly environment and that fire pit with s'mores is just perfect at the end of the day. My husband and I wished we could have stayed longer and definitely will put this mountain treasure on our "to do again" list.

Room Tip: Our room had a balcony and faced the mountain valley, not the ski mountain. It was lovely and quiet.
