“Yay Breakfast!”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

The muffins are great, the Met delicious, but the breakfast burrito is a must! We were there off-season so did not have the opportunity to enjoy the evening fare, but we can't wait to go back. Wine tasting dispenser looks great.

“Different and Wonderful”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We were in Beaver Creek for a wedding this past weekend. We ate brunch at The Metropolitan on the advice of a family member who raved about it. The food was excellent. We overheard someone tell the cashier to please tell the chef it was the best breakfast burrito he had ever had. All of our orders, an egg sandwich, breakfast burrito, tea, and muffins were excellent. The restaurant was only open for breakfast in October, but there was a wine station so I assume this place is open all day in the peak season. I would love to try the Chef's evening menu! As an aside, they have cool "green" bathrooms with sinks above the toilets so that the water you wash your hands with flush the toilets to save water. Everyone in our party loved this feature especially the kids!

“Friendly, welcoming service and great food”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

Selected this restaurant based on reviews, location and food. Several people in my group of 5 had never heard of tapas and needed help selecting wine. The staff was fabulous. This is a tourist area with plenty of visitors, yet the staff took time to greet us warmly, get to know us and treated us like regulars. We each ordered two tapas and shared with each other. The food was excellent. The manager showed us how to use self serve wine dispensing machine and explained the wines. We sat in a large open booth with rolling coffee type tables that made us feel like we were in a small living room. The cozy, casual and friendly atmosphere is inviting. We returned several times for drinks and deserts.

“Great food - great service”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

Ordered breakfast burritos while we were in a hurry to get to chapel church service on Sunday morning. Staff was very accommodating and kept our boxed leftovers in their fridge for us to pick up after services! The food was delicious...we enjoyed it both times, at time of service AND later in the day as a wonderful light supper!

“Mmm empanadas!”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

We came for dinner, were quickly seated, were told of the deals at the time, ordered our drinks, then began looking at the menu. We ordered the pulled pork tacos and empanadas. Both fantastic! The manager chatted with us, and showed us how the wine machine worked. He was a very cool, nice guy. We then stuck around and had dessert. The cheesecake is a MUST. It's HUGE, and delicious. Great experience, quick, and friendly service. Will return!
