I definitely recommend the Beaver Creek Lodge for your next ski vacation. My wife and I stayed at the Beaver Creek Lodge (BCL) from Jan. 14-18. We were given a King bed room on the second floor. I would recommend requesting a room on the second floor because the ski valet and walk to the slopes is both on the second floor. Our standard King room was great, we had a living area with fireplace and a separate bed area. The first thing I need to say is that the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel, it was more comfortable than my pricey pillow top mattress at home. Sleeping with the down comforter was so nice. I also liked that the room came with a humidifier. The room was much bigger than the Park Hyatt rooms which lack the kitchen and living area.

To get to the slopes from the BCL you have to exit the hotel, walk about 30 yards, then take 2 escalators up to the slopes. Its not ski-in like the Park Hyatt but I didn’t mind the overall 50 yard hike. The village is right around the corner so you will have tons of options for food and drinks. Definitely stay somewhere in the village, it is so much nicer to have the eating options within walking distance than having to drive.

The BCL has an indoor/outdoor pool which was kept nice and warm (85-90 degrees). The jacuzzi outside was big enough for about 10 and was very warm (105 degrees).

The service at Beaver Creek Lodge was outstanding and exceptionally friendly - including the concierge arranging a Christmas tree in the condo ready for our arrival and the entire staff offering more help and consideration than we could possibly have expected when my wife had a skiing accident early in our trip. For that alone we plan to return. The lodge couldn't be better placed for the village centre, and while not strictly ski-in ski-out, 30 yards to covered heated escalators to the slopes can't be faulted. Breakfast was hearty and good quality (the eggs benedict were the best i've had!)
and the same smiling service was on-hand there too. Our only slight quibble was with early season teething issues with the young inexperienced restaurant staff, but this was easily outweighed by their friendliness and enthusiasm. The condo was fantastic and was kept spotless and tidy by the housekeeping staff each day and the bed in the master bedroom was execptionally comfortable. Evenings by the fire looking out at the lights in the village were exactly what the doctor ordered for a family christmas vacation.
We used room service twice and it was promptly served and hot on arrival.
For a boutique hotel the gym was well equipped, the right size and never busy, and while the hot-tub and pool are small and don;t have views, they were warm and welcome after a day on the slopes.
I can also recommend Christy Sports located in the Lodge - they were super helpful on our rental needs

We stayed in a well-equipped one-bedroomed appartment from 16 to 23 December at the Beaver Creek Lodge because we got a very good deal from our travel agent.

The room was well -furnished and modern; and there was plenty of space (at least for the two of us) in the appartment for ski equipment and luggage, etc.

Staff were excellent (including Rob on the front desk; and Housekeeping). The hotel is in an excellent location - for skiing of course, for getting round on the complimentary resort buses (including down to Avon where there's a post office, library, supermarket and some good value bars & eating-places - the Village complimentary shuttle bus (just outside this hotel) runs to and from Avon half-hourly at night until 10.30pm). The Lodge is in the Beaver Creek village centre.
Regular buses to Vail run from Avon ($4 each way), or you could try the privately-run 'Turtle Bus' which runs a couple of buses a day direct from Beaver Creek (again, catch it just outside this hotel) but costs $5 each way (though it has a bar on board; and uses a more direct route).

As mentioned in an earlier review for this hotel on Trip Advisor, it is odd having no natural day light in the living room of the appartment. Another slight issue for us was that sound-proofing between rooms was not that good.

House-keeping clean rooms during the day and also offer a nightly turn-down service.
The hotel offers a buffet breakfast for (presently) $23 a person in the on site 'Rocks' restaurant and bar: this is only good value if you intend to eat a LOT at breakfast - otherwise look at the breakfast menu for other options if you'd like breakfast in the hotel.

Overall, we thought the Beaver Creek Lodge was a well-run, cosy hotel with very good amenities in an excellent location. The hotel is linked to Christie Sports for ski hire (you can get a discount if you are staying at the Lodge) and for ski clothes/equipent purchases. The Lodge doesn't have a Spa, but does have an arrangment with the Charter hotel down the road for guests to use the Spa there.

We stayed at the Beaver Creek Lodge ( part of the BC Resort) for our honeymoon this summer. We loved it! There are so many places to eat and shops to browse. We loved spending time at the top of the mountains (Vail is only a few minutes away).

BC Resort is a great little mountain village, a perfect mountain getaway!

This was a fabulous place to stay. The location is close to dining, slopes, hiking trails, ice skating rink, and mini golf.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and stylish.
Guest service was friendly and extremely helpful.
If you stay with kids take advantage of the BC Day camps and enjoy some quiet time with your spouse.
