“Excellent Customer Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

My daughter and I stayed at Beaver Creek Lodge this past weekend for a family wedding. The hotel is very nice and, of utmost importance to us, it was very clean. We had a great room with a fireplace, microwave, fridge, sitting area, etc. We got a ridiculously low rate because of the time of year and the wedding rate, I would assume. I would definitely be willing to pay more during peak season considering how well we were treated. The hotel has a lot of interesting art to look at. My daughter particularly enjoyed the indoor/outdoor heated pool. As nice as the hotel is, the surroundings are absolutely breathtaking. We were there for the leaves turning yellow and some snow at higher elevations. The village has a lot of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We didn't have a car, but had access to a market with all sorts of supplies and a ton of highly rated restaurants. There is an ice skating rink in the village and a performing arts theater. There is also a chapel nearby which offers all sorts of services for different faiths. All of our interactions with the front desk and other staff were very positive. The concierge was very helpful in getting food to our room the night we arrived late and assisting us with printing boarding passes. However, I felt compelled to write a review after an experience we had towards the end of our visit. My daughter suffered altitude sickness after exerting herself a little too much. The front desk and concierge both offered assistance and advice. Housekeeping staff stopped by to check on us and offered to get some ginger ale or anything we might need. I really wish I had gotten the housekeeper's name because he was so caring. The customer service we received really elevated this hotel to the top of our must-go-back-to list. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Nice to hear the wedding you attended was a wonderful experience. I appreciate the kind words about the staff and will pass along. Please visit again soon - the leaves have fallen but so has the snow giving the incredible views a whole new appearance.
Thank you for staying with us !!

When I made our reservation, I indicated that we would be celebrating our son's 13th birthday during our stay at the Beaver Creek Lodge. The Concierge, Christina Schoeni, sent us a lovely email asking for his name. Upon arriving at our room, our son found a gift and a peronalized card signed by the general manager and concierge. What an amazing way to begin a super weekend! THANK YOU, Christina!

If there is one thing we regretted about our stay, it was that it was NOT long enough. I can say, unequivitably, that the Beaver Creek Lodge is one of the most exceptional properties we have had the pleasure to visit. Our suite was amazingly clean and the location was perfect for shopping or taking in the Fall colors. Next year, we will definately stay longer!

Reasonable & friendly in the heart of the village for a family of 3 for a weekend soccer tournament. We also stayed last year for the same amazing rate. Great to see familiar faces especially Velizar-best valet service anywhere anywhere!Sunny at the front desk is incredible.Genuine & thoughtful-she even offered ways to get our sons cleats dry by the fire place while we waited to check in.these two are great examples of how customer service should always be!

My husband and parents and I were traveling to Colorado for a wedding for one of my best friends. We decided to go out the week before and travel around the mountains and came across a deal on Travelzoo. What an absolutely perfect hotel in a beautiful location!

Exterior: We pulled up to a gated area, and weren't sure we were in the right spot, but a short drive past the gate led us to a gorgeous rock/stone entrance to a stunning hotel next to a creek. It's nestled right next to a ritzy shopping and dining area and at the bottom of a ski hill with the ski lift just steps away from the hotel. Take the ski lift ride up and hike around! I think we paid $26-$32 per person for the ride up--which was beautiful--and it included a delicious fresh gourmet lunch voucher for the restaurant on the top. The pass could be used on the ski lift in Vail, too--not quite as cool, but we felt we got our money's worth.

Parking: We had a discounted valet rate. Only drove to go to Vail. Personally, we preferred Beaver Creek better. Outside of the gate (maybe a mile or two) are more chain restaurants, Walgreens, gas stations, and the highway. We preferred to walk around the lodge to local restaurants, shopping and hiking. You can walk to anything you need.

Lobby: Beautiful stone floors. Nice lobby with water with lemon and lime, concierge, and friendly staff.

Rooms: The rooms border the outside of hotel with a big open space to the dining area below. In addition, this gives you windows to the interior of the hotel as well as outside and let in a lot of light. The hotel website's pictures are pretty spot on. We had a large living area with couch chair, a table and chairs, and kitchenette stuff. The bedroom was gorgeous with a luxurious king bed and overlooked the creek. We even had bathrobes and slippers for going to the pool in! The living room had a pull out sofa, which was fine. It was perfect for 4 people--each couple had their own little space.

Pool/Hot Tub/Sauna: We did enjoy this after a day of hiking with some drinks! We were the only 4 in there!

Probably couldn't afford this hotel during ski season, but if you are traveling during the summer months and want to see the mountains, this is absolutely worth it! We would absolutely return!

Room Tip: Get a creek-side room!

Spent a quick romantic Weekend at the beaver Creek Lodge. Great rooms, great service, great location!
Massive flooding along the front Range and Beavercreek was beautiful and sunny! Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Positives: Facing the creek, this hotel provides luxurious accommodation options. I happened to visit Beaver Creek during April-May and enjoyed my stay thoroughly. This is a old property but is maintained with top quality amenities. The restaurant facing the slopes is a must visit. The suite where I stayed was equipped with cutlery and being a vegetarian I could manage to cook noodles with the available options in the suite. overall a comfortable stay with good connectivity to wireless network.

Thanks for the review! We are in a spectacular location and closer to the lifts than many people know. Just outside our front door is the skier bridge leading down from Strawberry so you can literally walk 30 feet to the front of our building and when hitting the slopes in the morning you can take the same route which takes you to chair 14. No lift lines and easy to find Bachelor Gulch/Arrowhead or come back over to Centenial via Strawberry Park Bridge.
See you in a couple months for Ski Season !!
