“Good hotel overall”
Reviewed July 8, 2012

We've stayed here numerous times and have always enjoyed our stay. Location is just a few minutes to the ice rink. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and clean. Don't expect high-end furnishings. Tube tv in the living area and non-HD flat panel in the bedroom. Privacy is an issue since blinds covering the hallway leave big gaps. Bathroom are on the small side. Our last stay was for 2 nights and had a very slow drain in the shower/bath. I asked the front desk the first night and asked the housekeeping the next day due to the unresolved issue. The issue was never resolved.

BC Lodge is an excellent value and would recommend this hotel to others but would also look elsewhere.

Got a deal on Travelzoo and am so thankful we did! One of the friendliest, cleanest, most relaxing places I have ever stayed. Nice warm pool, free Internet, comfy beds, robes to stay warm. They even have kids robes so my daughter could have one too! Love Beaver Creek and love this hotel!

Thank you for your review and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. The large windows that we have facing the atrium add to the open feeling of the room however I understand your remark on privacy. We hope to see you again in the near future - snow is in the forecast and we will have several great package deals on our website.

Bit of a delayed review but stayed at Beaver Creek lodge during Christmas 2011. After a 10 hour flight, a four hour shuttle ride through heavy snow from Denver to Beaver Creek, plus a seven hour time difference we were very tired. Check in was quick and we went straight to bed.
The rooms were very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable, probably the best I’ve slept in at a hotel. There was a good size bathroom, kitchen area and sofa with a TV showing a good selection of channels. Very impressed with the rooms.
The food at the restaurant is very good. We ate breakfast there every morning and they were huge! We were so full from them that I didn’t think we ate lunch during our stay. We ate dinner twice and were impressed with the quality of the food. The only complaint I have here is the service. There didn’t seem enough servers or seating for the amount of guests staying at the hotel. We were told on numerous occasions that there would be an hour wait to be seated then when we were finally seated it took a while for our orders to be taken and our food to come. Not really acceptable.
The pool and hot tub were absolutely fantastic! After a hard day skiing there is nothing better than having a soak in boiling hot water. You have to brave the 5 second walk from the pool to the hot tub in -26 but once you’re in you won’t want to get out. They may have been improved by now but the sauna and the steam room weren’t very good during our stay. These definitely need to be worked on.
We used the ski hire at the hotel ‘Christie sports’. The knowledge and service of these guys were absolutely excellent. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were always greeted with a friendly smile. 5 stars for Christie sports!
Beaver Creek has a tagline of ‘not exactly roughing it’ and it certainly holds true! This is a high-end resort that caters for those who are there to ski and snowboard. If we return to Beaver Creek we would definitely stay at Beaver Creek Lodge again as we were very impressed with the hotel overall.

I can't say enough about our stay, right in the heart of the village with a beautiful view. Christina and other staff members ensured our brief 2 night stay was a great experience. This was the halfway point to our eventual destination and so glad we chose it. Clean, comfy and spacious room. Did not get to try the in house dining, but there are many great restaurants within walking distance, as well as great little shops.

It must be a whirlwind during ski season, but if spring or summer is your preference, this is the place to be.

We had a terrific stay at Beaver Creek Lodge! We stayed right at the tail end of low season, so it was quiet at the hotel and the village. We had a Valley View King room which was a 1BR unit with lots of space. The location is fantastic - right around the corner from the heart of Beaver Creek village. Cool decor, comfy beds, even a DVD player in the room. We would definitely stay here again!

We got a great off season rate ($120/night) and this was great luxury for the price. The front desk clerk was attentive and helpful. The hotel and room were tastefully decorated. The shower was awesome and the bed very comfortable. Good location a very short walk from the commercial development and the lifts.

What a great little find! Who "woulda thunk it!?!"

Finding this neat, chic, boutique luxury property in a prime location for the recent Blues, Brews and BBQ festival was a win-win situation. We wanted to be close to it all, yet not caught up in the thick of it either. IDEAL is the word- right across the creek from Beaver Creek's Mountain Village! Our room was right on the creek side and we enjoyed listening to the sound of the water rushing down the mountain.

This place is an all suite hotel- big, BIG bonus. The rooms are beautiful, much like being at home with granite fixtures, gas fireplaces and spacious rooms. The artwork in the hotel’s designated gallery is amazing- not to mention the copper “chandelier-sculptures of Rock climbers scaling the heights of the atrium centered amongst the guestroom floors. That has to be a first anywhere.

The staff is so courteous and they all love to share their favorite spots for dining and adventure: this is why we choose smaller scale hotels. If you are the B and B type; then this is your better, full service option. They have the amenities that you would expect at a larger hotel, but on a boutique sized scale (Steam room, Sauna, jacuzzi and pool; which is just perfect for us anyway. We don’t want to choose a nice luxury hotel (no matter what size) and then have an experience that you are at a local 24-hour gym…. You know the one. There is an amazing, world class golf course about a quarter mile down the road.

Anyway- we loved it so much we rebooked for next year’s festival upon check-out. I just need to see if we can sneak in a ski trip before then!

Room Tip: Ask for a creekside room if you enjoy the soothing sound of rushing water.
