We loved everything about our stay at St. James Place. The location is great because you are in the main village, but just on the edge which means you do not get the noise of the village. We were able to walk with our skis to the slopes and did not feel the need to store them at the base. We loved coming back to coffee and hot chocolate every day in the lobby. The pool and hot tub were fun for the kids.
Our condo was GREAT! We had a three bedroom. The bedrooms were just the right size for kids and all of their gear. We returned to perfectly clean rooms each day. The maid service was not just great at keeping the entire condo clean. they were also very friendly and helpful.
We truely have no complaints. I would stay at St. James without hesitation.
The layout of Beaver Creek makes everything convenient so you definetly do not need a car.

This is a nice property but it is a good walk from the lifts which is not easy specially if you have to carry your skis. It is however very convenient to everything else in the village

We stayed here for a weekend in January. When we first checked in, the shower head in the master bathroom was missing (yeah.. missing.. weird) but we called down and within 10 minutes someone was up putting a new one in for us. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a dinner for 5, beds were comfy after a day on the slopes. I will stay here again (and again and again and again!).

2 families stayed at the Dulany and we could not fault it.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom and looked over the village. We would definitely stay here again.

Concierge was fabulous with hot tea, coffee and chocolate waiting for you when you returned indoors along with sunscreen and water.

The service of the rooms was the best I have ever experienced.

Thumbs up all round from us.

Room Tip: Just be careful that some apartments are very dated with no view and some views are amazing, all for...

This message is to travelsalot03. When visiting ski areas in the "off season", this period is the only time many of these properties have the time to renovate the buildings. My suggestion would be if you are entertaining during these periods, find a locale suited to your needs, ie the Caribbean. The price was probably very cheap during the month of November and you probably got what you paid for. Your name travelsalot03 with only one review doesn't carry a lot of clout. We have skied in Beaver Creek since the mountain opened in the early 80's and think of every reason to go back during the ski season aswell as the summer. Try it during those seasons, and you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Stay in the odd numbered rooms

St. James Place, Beaver Creek, is a condo hotel rental. I am assuming each unit varies depending on the owner. First impression of the building is that it could use a tiny bit of updating - normal wear and tear. Everything is very clean, service at the front desk is pleasant, prompt and accommodating. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath with kitchen unit was beautiful. It was recently remodeled and all items in the kitchen were workable with new dishes and a washer/dryer. The location is adjacent to the Park Hyatt. We were glad that we were not at the PH, as it was extremely crowded with a lot of families - we have teenagers and were fine at St. James. The indoor pool was nice, we did not use the work out facility. Underground parking was convenient as were the ski lockers. We would stay here again as you are located at the end of the village and a short walk to the lifts.

Room Tip: We rented our room thru VRBO directly from the owner versus St. James Place management. Photos of th...

It's always great to getaway. Living in Colorado, we like to go to the Mountains, for the peace, the cooler weather and the views. Our 'go to' area is Beaver Creek, and on this trip we stayed at St. James Place. We've stayed here before. The last time was probably 6-8 years ago. We rented a 2 bedroom with a den. Let me start by saying that often the decor of mountain lodgings lean the Cowboy way. Don't get me wrong. I was born in Colorado, however sometimes I feel that just because we are in the West doesn't mean the decor has to be of the West. I've seen it all, from chaps and spurs to Indian artifacts, made in China, and furniture from the William Kid signature line. Thankfully, this was not the case here. Granite counter tops, wood floors and tasteful furnishings greeted us when we opened the door. Ok, sure there was an antler chandelier but we are in the West aren't we? This place was so roomy that my daughter and her friend not only had a bedroom to themselves but also a "chill" room. There goes the Den. The full kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, etc. It only lacked in cooking utensils as it had the bare minimum. The Master bathroom was full tilt marble, complete with shower and tub and dual sinks. Overall, the unit was very nicely furnished, with TV's in every room (flat screen, DVD in the living room), gas fireplace, washer/dryer and thick, luscious towels. Other positives are the indoor pool, the big, well equipped workout room and a helpful, responsive staff. I have nothing major negative to say except that our stay was too short. The only suggestion I have is to equip the kitchen with more cooking utensils. Some people do cook on vacation, you know. Thanks for a great stay.

Room Tip: Try and stay away from a room facing the Park Hyatt. Too much vehicle traffic noise.
