We stayed 2 nights for a Lacrosse tournament. 3 of us stayed in a junior suite and it was very comfortable. It is a small hotel with only 24 rooms, so it has a very quaint feel to it. Breakfast is included which is a nice bonus. Location is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a boutique hotel on the main square of Beaver Creek. We happened upon this property while traveling the area in the fall of 2013. We planned to stay for just two nights and ended up spending 4 nights. It is simply a lovely hotel with amenities that you usually only find in a 4 star European lodge. The breakfast was more than we expected and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful.
We are planning a trip to the same north western part of Colorado and plan to see if there is a vacancy available for the dates we are traveling. It is an owner controlled and managed condominium. There are only 24 rooms in the entire property, so if you call on short notice and are able to book a room or a suite, you are very fortunate. And you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms. Some are smaller than others, but all are elegantly appointed. Rooms that fa...

Wife and I are in a very spacious 1 bedroom. Separate living and bedroom areas. No kitchen, but we are eating out every meal. We do have a frig. This is a great small hotel/condo type place on the main square of Beaver Creek. We have access to the Park Hyatt fitness and spa, which is fantastic. The breakfast say's it's "continental", but it is a full breakfast (eggs, bacon, etc). Not a ton of variety, but very good. This is only a 24 room hotel, so it is not crowded. We love the small European feel and are already trying to plan another trip next year. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a "non-hotel" experience with great location in BC. The only down side is there are not great views of the mountains, but you only need to walk to the BC ski area or go to the Hyatt for those.

Room Tip: 206 is a bigger 1 bed with a dining table and living room. No fireplace however.

We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay! If you're planning a return visit, you may request a room with a better mountain view and we will try our best to accommodate. Some of our rooms do have nice views of the mountains. Also, our presidential suite comes equipped with a full kitchen and dining room if that suits your needs better. Thank you for choosing Poste Montane Lodge.

We arrived not knowing much about hotel or the area and have been very surprised, the staff have been exceptional and very helpful with any thing we have asked, they are knowledgable and friendly, the room is very nice and very comfortable, breakfast is nice, we did not expect so was a bonus, it is called continental but better than the English continental, shops and restaurants in area are also good. Would have no problem recommending this hotel and the area

Stayed for few days in April 2014. Arrived to a rude, impatient young woman who seemed to dislike hotel work/customer service. The one from England was super nice and professional, but the younger woman and older guy were aloof and moody. Otherwise, liked room and area. Wish had microwave in room. Breakfast is bare bones and more like eating at a Super 8. Could be a lot better.

No lack of maintenance or upgrading at this hidden gem in the village at Beaver Creek. This small 24 room timeshare hotel resembles an 19th century English lodge with daily housekeeping and hot breakfast. The staff is extremely accommodating and location next to the skating rink and restaurants makes it very desirable

We just spend a week at the Poste Montane in Beaver Creek. We choose the Poste primarily because of the location and the use of the Alegra spa at the Hyatt. On those 2 accounts we the Poste was a great choice. It was an easy walk to the main ski lift, and we went to the spa every day after skiing. The daily breakfast was great. Breakfast is continental, but supplemented with a hot entree. There is a cappuccino and hot chocolate. The staff at reception was incredibly friendly. The free parking and ski lockers add to the positive experience. Our room was large, and closet space was ample.
Our only complaint is that of the cleaning staff. One day our room was still not cleaned when we returned from skiing around 4:30. We never had our toilet paper refilled and early one morning we realized we were out and had to walk down stairs to the front desk to get more. The same thing with the firewood, it was never replaced even though our fire wood basket was empty. Also, our garbage was not emptied. The room was clean, it was just a few little things that added up.
