Our ski group occupied a number of these condos. We found that while they had similarities, each condo was uniquely laid out. Condo entrances are on the 2nd and 5th floors. For the even-numbered rooms on the second floor, you enter on the top floor of the 3BR townhome. You may have 1 or 2 bedrooms on this level. The main living area and the kitchen are on the ground floor, along the other bedroom(s). The great thing about these condos is that you literally step off the back porch, step over a small dip in the terrain and then you're on the slopes and it's a short run to the base of the Centennial chair and the main resort base. Doesn't get much better than that! Each of these condos has its own ski locker in the room.
For the odd-numbered condos with entrances on the second floor, the layout is reversed. A bedroom or two on the entrance level then take the stairs up to the main living area and remaining bedroom(s) on the 3rd floor. Condos on the fifth floor have a bedroom or two on the entrance level then a staircase down to the main living area with the other bedroom(s). These condos have huge 2-story windows which provide awesome views, whether you face the slopes/mountain or the other way.
If you're not in an even-numbered 2nd floor unit, your condo will have a ski locker in the common area on the 1st floor, from which you can step out on to the slopes.
Our unit, 218, had the master BR on the top floor with a large tub and separate shower. Out on the landing, there was also a half-bath. Downstairs were two bedrooms, one with twins and one with a king bed. Each had its own full bath. In both of these bathrooms you could close a door between the sink area and the toilet/shower area so that using one section didn't preclude another person from using the other section.
We also had a small den area with an L-shaped couch, great for a reading nook or a nap. The kitchen had lots of storage space and was fairly well stocked, though that will vary from condo to condo. The kitchen overlooked the living/dining areas and had several bar stools at the counter.
Our unit had flat screen HD TVs in each bedroom and a large one in the living room. Our dining table would seat eight. Each condo had its own wi-fi network that worked well for us.
There is an indoor hot tub, though it's down on the first floor and then you take stairs down from there. For whatever reason, it produced lots of soapy bubbles whenever the jets were running. The waterline could also have used a good scrubbing. But the temperature was usually correct and it felt good on sore ski muscles.
If you want to go back via the shortest route to the Highland Lodge (where the front desk is located) you do have to walk across and up a small ski trail. If it's snowed heavily and the grooming machine hasn't come through, that could be deep snow, so pack your boots accordingly.
The Dial-A-Ride bus does come to the front door, but only on request, whereas it makes a regular stop at Highlands Lodge. However they were terrific with our group, transporting all of us out to dinner each night.
All in all we had a great time and I would definitely stay here again.
