This hotel is conveniently located. the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast is included. Free Wi-Fi which worked really well. I was there for business and therefore did not spend a lot of time in the room, but the desk was comfortable with sufficient power outlets for my laptop and phone charger, and direct lighting. the building is set back far enough that there was no noise from traffic. The shower is really interesting having additional nozzles in the wall where the showerhead is located. I enjoyed it, but if one was short, the water from the nozzles might hit you in the head. Also, it makes it necessary to be very careful with the shower curtain; I found water on the bathroom floor from the water hitting the back wall and ricocheting around the curtain. But, saying all that, the shower experience was very nice. If I was in the area again I would definitely go back

The facility was good and the staff pleasant. However, the desk person on check-in did not know where Joshua Tree National Park was in relation to the hotel, unusual since that is the name of the hotel. She thought it was an hour away (it is less than 20 minutes). She did, however, check on the internet and offer to print directions. The room was clean, but the book with the TV guide was missing and no one checked after the lack of the guide was pointed out.

The price posted in a very large sign on the exterior of the hotel says $69/night, but when I asked for that rate, the sales clerk told me they were "trying to take down the sign" and made me pay $89/night. Bedspread wasn't clean (who uses bedspreads any more?). Yuck. All else was fine. Room otherwise clean. Breakfast fine. Keep expectations low, and watch the price.

Kristine
I am sorry that you misread the sign but it is $69 and up, this is for a standard room. You are a rewards member and the bedspread is a requirement of Best Western and is laundered after each guest check out. As I am sure you are aware business fluctuations dictate price and the alternative for a similar room the nights of your stay was $129.00. I am pleased that the other aspects of your stay were satisfactory and look forward to your next visit.

We stayed in this hotel en route to the Grand Canyon from Los Angeles. The room was clean and comfortable, with good free WiFi and complimentary beverages. The bathroom was clean and in good condition. The small gym was just right to help work out early in the morning.

The complimentary breakfast was very welcome, serving eggs, bacon, waffles and a range of beverages. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Traveled for family event. Excellent accomdations, very friendly staff. We stayed in the king bed suite. Perfect for the grand daughter - she felt like she had her own space. Breakfast was great! I have no problems recommending this hotel if you are staying in the Yucca Valley, 29 Palms area.

As others have posted, this was a great place to stay when visiting Joshua Tree National Park. The check-in was quick, our room clean and comfortable, and bar none the BEST breakfast I've experienced at any Best Western Plus. The small pool with views of the parking lot was a disappointment but otherwise a terrific stop on our journey through southern California.

Very good hotel - well worth a stay if visiting Joshua Tree NP. Not luxury but clean, nice room (had 2 room suite), and well priced. Good simple breakfast. Pool could have been better. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
