Very clean, breakfast was AMAZING!!! Perfect for our stay. Looks like it was updated recently. We really enjoyed our stay. Kayla (front desk) and Angelina (breakfast) were super sweet. We didn't have WiFi in our room (102) and was bummed about that but they gave us $10 off of our final bill for the inconvenience which was very nice. We would def stay there again. It is the nicer of the 2 Best Westerns in the Joshua Tree area. 20 miles from the main park but it wasn't so bad.

What more could you want from a hotel? The room was huge, spotlessly clean and comfortable which was very welcome to us as we had been travelling for weeks and had stayed in some suspect places. The free breakfast was excellent offering; selection of cereals, mini bagels, muffins, fruits, eggs and sausage patties. It was very handy for Joshua tree NP which is only approx 20 minute drive away. The only minor disappointments were that the shower was actually quite complicated and guests would benefit from some instructions, the safe didn't work and I have to say that I have had better quality towels in the cheaper motels we had stayed in. Reception staff were ok, could have been a bit more friendly, staff at breakfast were friendly, kept everything very clean. Despite my minor gripes, I would definately recommend it, I'm glad we stayed here, there didn't seen to be much else in the Yukka valley and I would stay here again.

This Best Western location was clean, quiet, and economical. The bed was comfortable; there was Wi-Fi and breakfast. No fridge in the room altho' spot for it if requested. Great Denny's nearby. Not a lot of choices in this area outside the park, so we were pleased.

We had stayed at another Best Western on our trip which was very disappointing,tThis one was quite different. In all fairness is was much newer, but the price was much better, rooms were nicer and the TV worked. We were given a queen suite at a very reasonable price. The room(s) were clean and had a couch as well as the beds. Each room had its own flat screen TV. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room did not have a refrigerator, but staff kept my husband's medication and ice pack in hotel refrigerator and remembered to give it to us the next morning. Breakfast was ample with a number of choices. Only issue I had was the name. Hotel in not in Joshua Tree, but in Yucca Valley, unfortunately I had not checked the address before arrlving in the area. When I called the hotel after we could not find it in Joshua Tree the staff person was very helpful in giving me directions.

Why anyone would travel through the dusty Twenty-nine Palms, Ca is beyond me, but if you find yourself out of gas and trapped near there, keep driving past this hotel. The room I had reserved MONTHS in advance seemed nice and clean when we opened the door. There was a nice spa and it was of good size. The A/C unit was running, but no cold air was coming out of it. I reported it to the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy. He looked at it, operated all the buttons I just operated and said "Well, it's blowing air". I went back to the desk and asked for a different room. Well, they had no other spa rooms and offered me another king room for Twenty Bucks More! After some discussion, we were reassigned to a king room at the same price with their apologies. I pointed out that a discount would make a nice apology, but it fell on deaf ears. This is one of those hotels that has the fat little bed pillows that are more like throw pillows. They are not comfortable to sleep on. They do have a nice parking lot.

I apologize for the service you received. I will speak with the maintenance staff regarding the poor service. On the pillow issue, we replace the pillows every 6 months or so and they don't get a chance to get soft.

Everybody was so friendly here, offering bananas for our hike and extra lotion for our super dry skin. Good breakfast, too, and very comfortable bed. We were mostly just passing through on our way to Joshua Tree, and it was relatively convenient. Not too much going on in the town, but that's not what we were there for.

Located on 29 Palms Hwy, we drove past it thinking the hotel would be located closer to Joshua Tree Park.
Considering the desert dust, we were very impressed with the freshness and cleanliness of the hotel. The bed was cool and comfortable, AC efficient though loud. Swimming pool was across the parking lot next to a second building.
Many tasty offerings for the 'free' breakfast. Coffee and juice were available all day.
Lots of stores nearby.
Skimpy on the towels and amenities. We had one bath towel and one small bar of soap. There was a stand alone sink next to the bedroom and a separate room with tub/shower and toilet. Frustrating to be standing in shower soaking wet , reach where soap should be and realize the only soap is at the stand alone sink!
A good sleep, pleasant staff, happy breakfast crowd.
