“Really good home made food”
Reviewed August 20, 2013 via mobile

The tri tip was great, so was the chicken fried steak and gravy and the soup. The pies were definitely home made.

“Return visit update”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Had not been back to the Kopper Kettle in 3 or 4 years because of the terrible service; 30-45 minutes to get served and then the food not that great.
After reading all the recent review, decided to give it a try again.
Went for breakfast about 10:30 this morning and had pancakes and eggs with bacon and sausage and the wife had eggs and raisin toast., Both very good, but of course just simple breakfast. Bacon was tasty, but link sausage not good. (Most link sausage I find is not good, usually patties OK)
The breads are "home made" and very good. I noticed other folks meals going by looked good and plentiful. Hash browns actually cooked.
Will try the lunch or dinner menu next time. Saw only one waitress, but she gave good service.
The place is still pretty beat up looking and not very clean; view of kitchen not appetizing.
No AC and very hot.
Breakfast and lunch only.

“Great food in a hometown place”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Kopper Kettle Kafe is by far our favorite place for breakfast! The pumpkin pancakes are fantastic, we get them every time we go. They have a good variety on the menu for breakfast and lunch. Our favorites include the veggie skillet; it is very tasty and has a lot of vegetables. Their cinnamon raisin toast is delicious. The place has a kitschy decor and hometown feel.

“Best place in town”
Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

Good breakfast and lunch. You will not find a better place in town.

Try the raisin French toast, or the monte cristo.

“GOOD FOOD WHERE YOU DON'T EXPECT IT”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

My wife and I were on our way to Palm Springs (from Big Bear) and we needed to grab lunch. My wife found the Kopper Kettle on TripAdvisor and we decided to give it a try based upon the reviews we read. The food and service were very good overall. Our iced teas came in full size Mason jars and the food portions were ample. My club sandwich was very good and my wife stated that her Monte Cristo sandwich was very good as well. She especially liked the fact that the sandwich was made with french toast and was not fried (as it usually is at many restaurants). The turkey in both sandwiches was also real roast turkey and not the pressed stuff that so many restaurants have switched. The location and decor is nothing too fancy (it is in two old store fronts that have been rennovated) but I would highly recommend this restaurant for any meal.
