“Quaint, Quirky Quality”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

I wish TA had a "good" rating or an "average+" rating. Yes, the service was a bit slow but it was highly enthusiastic. The food was not Napa Valley trendy, but is was vastly superior to coffee shop. The servers and the busgirl dressed and looked professional. Empty plates were removed promptly by the attentive busgirl. The ambiance of the small dining room and separate wine bar were really similar to what we have found in family run small-town restaurants all over the world. Although the food seemed a bit overpriced and not "authentic" Italian cuisine it was a reasonably tasty interpretation. Chianti (not Classico) by the glass was $5.75 which is fairly typical. The main course were generally in the $15 to $18 range and included salad and fresh baked bread/rolls. The dinner salad for two is served in a mixing bowl and is enough for three or four if everyone is also going to have a full entree.

“No problems”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

It's a mistake to judge a restaurant by its employees because the bad employees will be gone quickly anyway. I had the tortellini and it was fine. The staff was great. There are many Italian themed restaurants where I live and I would be happy to have this as one of them. The bread is especially delicious. Be careful, though - this is a small town and they close at 8 pm.

“Poor service and food”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

I was excited to eat here but was quickly disappointed by the slow service and the food tasted like something out of a jar. Not to mention it was not cheap. I would go here thinking you were going to get a home cooked Italian dinner. Just ok in my opinion.

“Pleasantly surprised”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

We didn't expect much in this little town across the Oregon border, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, as was the service, all we could expect from an Italian restaurant.

“Ok”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

We dined here as it was recommended by our hotel, and there isn't much choice in Yreka. Staff very friendly and enthusiastic. I ordered a chicken dish cooked with white wine, lemons and capers, bizarrely it came with an additional tomato sauce on the pasta. The meal included a huge salad which was nice. Prices ok, but didn't really enjoy food, didn't think it was very Italian or authentic.... Other people on TA obviously have enjoyed it more......it want terrible but wouldn't go again.
