It is very goo. If you like wine, must do wine pairing, very reasonably priced for a wine pairing.".............."...".......".".."............

The risotto was fabulous, as were the well-cooked root vegetables. Seared steak was ok, cheese plate was excellent. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. This was a fun atmosphere for a group!

Wanted something a little less formal but still adventurous for a recent last-minute trip to Napa.

The atmosphere was relaxed with a good vibrant buzz. This is not a sleepy place.

Clientele seemed a little younger than the usual Napa/Sonoma restaurants--late twenties to mid forties. Not that there weren't older folks, it just seemed a little younger to me--which is nice!

Our meal was great from beginning to end. A frisee salad with beets. Beef brisket with bacon wrapped endive, onions, and purple fingerling potatoes. Cheese plate. Pear crumble with vanilla ice cream. All of this served family-style and enough food for two hungry guys. We loved it.

Service was attentive but informal. Wine pairings were spot-on.

We enjoyed dinner at Ad Hoc. The menu featured lots of local produce, in Napa style, as parts of the salad, main dish and cheese courses. The main course was steak which was served sliced in a skillet-type dish along with potatoes and different vegetables. All was tasty and well prepared. The dessert was peanut butter panna cotta, which to me was just OK. The servings are generous and the dinner is a decent value. Service was very good. I enjoyed the dinner, but I'm not sure I would do it again. I think it depends a lot on how much you like the night's menu.

This was probably the best pork chop I have ever eaten and seconded by my client. The room is a bit noisy when full but well lit and there is an outside option which next time I will take!

The menu is fixed with an option all prepared well with excellently trained staff. Wine is good but not as inclusive as I would have thought.
