After a day of wine tasting and no dinner reservations, we walked in, found the last 2 seats at the bar and settled in for dinner. What an incredible food experience, but first our bartender was great and really knew his stuff. Ordered small plates from bar menu so we could try a variety and were not disappointed with any of them. Get the scallops from the main menu - share as an appetizer - savor every delicious bite.

Really over-rated! The food was mediocre. The service was sloppy. The table wasn't clean. It was disappointing. For certain the worst place we ate during this trip to Napa. We were really surprised.

My business partners and I had dinner at 4 different Yountville restaurants. We had the same methodology with each, however, the restaurant results were very different. Our approach was a day of wine tasting, purchasing several local bottle for our dinner, bringing our own wine to the restaurant and paying the cork fee.
I have written a specific review for each - this one for REDD.
The food is very good, however, a little more expensive than some of the others mentioned below. The atmosphere is a little stiff, but was still very pleasant and the service was great. Would definitely go back.
The cork fee is $25 for first bottle and $50 for each additional. We went through several of our own bottles so this became a talking point. The other restaurants in the price category charge $25 per bottle so I was a little disappointed in this extra bottle fee.
Recommend Bottega, REDD, & Bistro Jeanty. However, would strongly discourage going to Bouchon.

After a long day wine tasting it was time for food on a recommendation of a winery we were tasting at.Lucky us beautiful day we had patio seating with a view of the surrounding area!
The food and service excellent farm fresh food.I would definitely come back for dinner.
The price point value is there. The decor very modern and lite.I also like the fact that you can
walk easy to other places as well.

Food is the focus in this dining room with minimalist decor. The menu is not long, but offers a variety of seasonal dishes. If you like what you see online, you're going to love it when you get there.

We arrived a bit early and had a glass of wine at the bar where the bartenders took good care of us and made helpful suggestions so we could try a new wine. The hostess seated us at a wonderful corner table for two where we could watch the shadows play on the opaque shades as the sun set.

Our waiter was helpful and attentive - not disappearing half way through the evening. I started with the potato/leek soup with a touch of truffle oil. My husband had skate for his entree and raved about the preparation. I went for a sinfully rich dish of carnaroli risotto with maine lobster. If that wasn't enough we had the divine butterscotch pudding for dessert.
