An extraordinary setting, innovative regional California cuisine with a French influence, and seamless service combine to create the ultimate food and wine experience. At étoile, Chef Perry Hoffman marries classic, French-influenced technique with contemporary culinary innovation and fresh, seasonal ingredients. Hoffman works closely with Chandon winemakers to explore the interplay between wine and food, enhancing the experience of both. Guests may dine a la carte, or explore the ultimate food and wine pairing experience through Chef Hoffman's tasting menus at lunch and dinner. The restaurant features a Wine Spectator "Best of" Award Wine list and received a Michelin star in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Michelin Guide after being recommended in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

“Beautiful setting”

Interesting food. Well prepared but pretentious. Servers did not listen well to us. Grounds are beautiful. Suggest if you must dine here, do it for lunch when you can enjoy the property.

“Delicious but 2 hours later for salads......”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

Spent the afternoon dining at Etoile.

A group of 8

Appetizer of Charcuterie was delicious! The duck pate and cheese was really good. Most everyone ate the tartar and meats and said those were excellent as well.

My lunch was the Moroccan octopus salad. SO GOOD really different ,with oranges and couscous.

Most of us ordered champagne by the glass.

Everyone in the party had delicious food especially the pork belly.le

Our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeablele

I just thought 2 hours was bit long to get in and out for lunch, but the food was very good.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I did not eat here, just had glorious champagne. I was there as part of a wedding group- the week prior to the wedding. We had a private section of the grounds with tables over-flowing with champagne bottles (ready when we arrived), lavender blooming- and literally- there were butterflies. It was absolutely picturesque. There was not a single thing I would have changed. The service, atmosphere and champagne- all spectacular!

“Ecletic”
Reviewed February 22, 2014 via mobile

We had one of the greatest dinners ever. This should be 2 Michelin stars, easy. Had the 6 course chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. Great combination of ingredients, tastes and smells in every course. This was the key feature of this great dinner. The Chandon brandy was a wonderful finish, hard to believe that they will no longer make this. We secured a bottle and took it with us. Cheers! Yountville trolley brought us back home safely, a great service. Thanks.

“Elegance in Napa”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

This restaurant is set in a winery but is elegant in ambiance and service. Menu is upscale and varied. Wine list extensive. Great spot for a special occasion. Service is first class, but a bit formal.
