Description: Highly acclaimed chef Thomas Keller (of The French Laundry) is behind this beautiful Yountville restaurant. Enjoy excellent French bistro cuisine in a dining room offering wonderful Parisian ambiance. We invite you to visit Bouchon Bakery, an authentic, country-style boulangerie located next door Bouchon Bistro. The Bakery serves traditional French breads and pastries and is open from 7am - 7pm daily.

I have never seen a bakery like since since I was in Paris with all the wonderful pastries. Its total eye candy.

So everyone recommends and visits Bouchon Bakery. You will know it's good because there is almost always a line out the door and depending on the time and day, down the street. You would think that the line would move faster than it does. I guess there are so many choices, and they warm things, cut things and take their time with you the end result is a little slower service. But- the food is excellent and you will probably go back every day after your first visit. Don't miss this morning gem to start your tour of the Napa Valley.

We have been coming to Yountville, and Bouchon Bakery, for years. Lately, the line has been getting longer while the pastries and desserts have become less impressive. By all means, it is not bad, but it is now just average. Also, the lattes are no better than Starbucks, the espresso quality is not very good and the drinks are served too hot.

This was our second trip to Bouchon.

Admittedly, during our last trip to Yountville, Bouchon would have been last in terms of the meals we enjoyed, behind Bottega and Redd.

This visit however, Bouchon was excellent. We had a late evening seating, as we had a party of ten. That allowed us to try almost everything on the fantastic menu.

One item was better than the next. The pork rillettes and salmon pate were both awesome. The oysters were great as well. One item after another arrived to glowing reviews.

Bouchon is a fantastic destination in an otherwise very crowded Yountville restaurant marketplace.
