Stayed at Vintage Inn in June for 4 nights
Context: This was a trip with my Mother - an early Birthday present with the plan to take a Hot Air Balloon Trip on one of the days as a special birthday treat, do some wine tasting & explore & enjoy Napa valley. I had visisted Napa Valley quite a few times before but this was my mothers first trip.
Excellent welcome from all the staff, I had booked a Upstair Queen/Queen room.
Plenty of onsite parking (free)
The room looked just as respresented on the website - and we were impressed - 2 Queen Beds, Very spacious, table & 2 chairs (with ice bucket & bottle of wine already in the room), window seat, Large armoire type wardrobe. Flatscreen TV, Working Fireplace, Mini fridge, In room coffee/tea. Large Balcony with seating (view of pool and vineyards - sat outside one morning with Coffee & watched hot air balloons fly by which was rather special)
Good size bathroom - Jacuzzi bath, double vanity. L'Occitane Toiletries.
Bed had good quality linens (Im a bit of a thread count snob!)
The room was a lovely space to spend time in.
At times there was a slight amount of road noise but I expected that as I had researched the hotel & we had chosen not to book one of the quieter (more expensive) inner courtyard rooms - Im a light sleeper and the noise was not a bother to me.
Ground v well kept There is an onsite pool and you can use the spa facilities at the villagio hotel (sister property)
Breakfast was a truly impressive spread - every morning the variety, care & attention put into breakfast was amazing
Champagne (Mumm) was open & freely available each day - Great to start the day with a mimosa. There were a variety of hot and cold dishes, beautiful fresh fruit, great breads, Cheese, Fantastic homemade granola, Fruit tarts..
Afternoon tea was a real treat - goat cheese choux buns, mini sandwiches, cakes - delicious little treats were presented each day.
You are also located across the road from Bouchon bakery - so foodwise we were spoilt for choice
Excellent - Im so glad I chose this hotel as my mothers first trip to Napa. Yountville is easy to explore on foot and the hotel has a great location close to eveything. We could walk to restaurant in the evening which was a real bonus..
We also did our balloon ride with a company that operates out of the V marketplace (next door to the Vintage Inn)so we were a mere few steps away which made the very early start a bit easier
