“A top 5 hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2013

We stayed at the Vintage Inn for only one night and I really wish we had booked more time here. This is easily in my top five favorite hotels of all time.
The grounds of the Inn are beautiful and remind me of Italy. The pool area is very nice, with large fluffy towels, chilled water and a drink menu ready to go if you want to order something. The hot-tub is tastefully hidden behind some shrubbery making it feel very secluded. Tip: Hit the hot tub during breakfast or happy hour time, its empty, and private!
The room was gorgeous and included turn down service. The bed and bedding was top notch and extremely comfortable. There were robes, l'occitane products, and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The tub was just right for two people (and we are both pretty tall) and very relaxing with the jets and the nice l'occitane products.
I loved the happy hour, which was a full tasting and lots of small plate type food-we arrived starving but this was perfect to hold us for a few hours before dinner. Breakfast was also fantastic and included a bloody mary station, mimosas with good champagne, an omelet bar and a waffle bar with fresh fruit, eggs and basically anything else you could want for breakfast.
It's also in a nice location very close to a couple good restaurants, so you can walk and not worry about driving.
Finally, the staff here go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable at this five star inn-it was expensive but in an area where you are going to pay a lot whether you stay at something run of the mill or something classier, this place is a cut (or two) above the rest.

We stood at the Vintage Inn for 2 nights. We had an upstairs corner king suite (Room 207), french doors led to a balcony overlooking the main street. The room was large, with beautiful wood beam ceiling, fireplace, double sink bathroom and soaking tub. They provided L'Occitaine procucts, Nespresso machine, mini fridge, bottle of wine waiting for us with wine glasses and wine opener. The breakfast included a made to order omelet station, mimosas, amazing English Muffins from Model Bakery, fresh jam and pastries. The pool area was set up with cabanas, towels, evian water. The Inn is walking distance to all the best restaurants (Bottega, Bouchon, Redd, French Laundry). We had a balloon ride set up by the inn and later that evening massages at the Villagio Spa. This was the best spa I have ever been too!!! A beautiful spa and great ameneties. Definitely go early to enjoy the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, etc. It was an unbelievely fantastic stay.

We stayed in Yountville 2 nights at the gorgeous Vintage Inn. Large rooms w fireplaces. Walk to quaint village for outstanding and diverse dining options.
This was such a tremendous value. The full breakfast kept me going all day, omlette station, mimosas, French pastries. The property is a private estate like setting w numerous small shingled buildings that house main level or upper level rooms. The upper level rooms have vaulted ceilings and decks and the lower level have private patios.
The bathroom was huge and had everything
The pool was charming.
Visit Bouchon and grab a seat at the bar. The Steak Frittes was outstanding. We will be back here for sure.

If you return 18 times its pretty clear you've found something special. From our first visit, we were swept away by the charm, the service, a ridiculously sumptuous daily breakfast buffet, lovely rooms and pool and of course a location central to walkable fabulous restaurants, drivable to innumerable friendly fun wineries, great weather, easy comfortable environment and so why not return once a year for another glorious week in paradise

This was my third stay at the Vintage Inn and it was lovely as ever. The hotel is right in the heart of Yountville within walking distance of all of the fantastic restaurants in town. The room was quaint had a working fireplace and French doors that led out to an amazing patio. Not all of the patios are as lovely as the one I was lucky to have. The patio had a large sofa and two club chairs that were surrounded by a gorgeous blooming garden. Request room 502...you won't be disappointed.

The bathroom was nicely sized and had a great soaking tub. The one minor inconvenience was that there was no closet in the room which meant that my large suitcase didn't have a place to hide. There was however, an armoire in the bathroom to hang up your clothes.

The daily champagne brunch that comes with the room should not to be missed. They make omelets and Belgian waffles to order and have many options on the buffet table that alternate daily, all of which are all super delicious. For the non-champagne drinkers they offer bottomless bloody marys. After a day of wine tasting stop back by the hotel for complementary tea service in the afternoons complete with finger sandwiches and little cookies and snacks to tide you over until dinner.

The hotel has a lovely pool and outdoor courtyard for those that don't want to spend their day wine tasting up and down Highway 29 and the Silverado Trail. For those that do want to try their hand at wine tasting, the concierge is a great guide and can point you in the direction of some hidden gems.

There are quite a few newer hotels in Yountville but the Vintage Inn has been consistently great for years and their staff is always friendly and ready to assist with anything you need. The ambience is French country charming which is very different from some of the other more modern options in town.

All the reviews on this place are spot on. The grounds are truly beautiful. The property is meticulously maintained. The rooms are a great size. The are a bit dated, but WHO CARES. You aren't here for the technological amenities. You're there for a nice comfortable night rest in between all of your wine tastings and vineyard tours. The champagne brunch is incredible. They fill you with a hearty meal before your long days of drinking. We've stayed at a number of hotels in the area and when it comes to Napa Valley, this ranks up there.

Room Tip: Don't skip the champagne breakfast!

Such a beautiful place to stay and enjoy all the nearby wonders of Wine Country. Our room was so very comfortable and I loved the country french decor. It was restful, quiet, and yet very elegant......and the gorgeous breakfast....wow! We enjoyed sitting on our private balcony, over looking the gardens and fountain below. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
