We had an amazing time here! The hotel is in the perfect location. Some of the best restaurants we went to were within walking distance, and it has easy access to both of the main highways for touring vineyards. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of room for all of our clothes to hang. The room included a fireplace with a seating area as well as a private outdoor seating area with lounge chairs. We were right next to the pool and spa, but had very little issue with noise. The pool was clean they have food and beverage service in the pool area. Parking was included and we never had an issue finding a spot. The only thing I didn't care for at this hotel was the restaurant. We tried breakfast there, and they have very limited (and very expensive) options.

Dear Anne,

So glad you stayed with us at the Hotel Yountville on your recent visit to the Napa Valley. We appreciate all the positive comments on the hotel. We as well will share your comments regarding the restaurant. While not the largest breakfast menu the menu does provide all the traditional items- Muffins, fresh fruit, French toast, pancakes, omelets and the classic American breakfast as well as some of our Chef's wonderful creations including the Strawberry Risotto and a Pork Belly Benedict.

Anne, thanks again for being our guest. We look forward to having you.

Best regards,

Hotel General Manager

The town of Yountville has got to be one of the most perfect towns in America--beautiful, clean, and serene. Hotel Yountville fits right into that perfection. Pure luxury! The lobby is gorgeous, with plenty of comfortable seating, a bar, and a big fireplace. My husband enjoyed talking to bartenders Billy and Cody. Coffee and tea are available in the morning. Ice water is always available, too. In the afternoon, it might be infused with lemons, limes, cucumbers, and/or mint. (A nice touch!) The partially covered area outside the lobby with seating, a fireplace, and a bubbling fountain is so relaxing.

Everyone in reception was friendly and helpful. We ended up with an upgraded room, because we got in very early and had to wait for a room. The room was amazing! The bedding was luxurious, the fireplace was wonderful (even in May), and the private patio was a plus. The bathroom was extra large with an abundance of thick towels (and huge bath towels). Although I didn't take advantage of the whirlpool tub, I loved the shower with two shower heads, one on the wall and one on the ceiling. Heavenly! (I can only think of one thing that was less than perfect for me. There was no door on the main part of the bathroom, although the toilet was in a separate room. Because of the layout of our particular room, if you were lying in the bed, you could see almost everything in the bathroom, because of the mirror mounted over the sink. I would have liked a little more privacy!)

Breakfast at the Hopper Creek Kitchen was delicious. The pool area is beautiful and includes a fire pit. The grounds are immaculate and smell of honeysuckle.

I can't wait to go back to Yountville and Hotel Yountville!

Some extra notes:
--You can walk from Hotel Yountville on the southern end of Yountville to Yountville Park on the northern end, and you will cover a mile.
--A one-way cab ride to downtown Napa cost us $25.
--If you are looking for a very cheap way to get around the valley, ask about Vine Transit. About every hour one bus stops in Yountville and goes to downtown Napa, and another bus stops and goes to Calistoga.
--There is a free trolley that will pick you up and take you around Yountville.
--Napa Limousine, which you can book through the hotel, is great. We used them for back and forth to the airport and for a 6-hour winery tour.
--Recommended Yountville restaurants: Bistro Jeanty, Ad Hoc, and Bottega.

Room tip: Ask for one of the newer rooms.

We stayed here three nights and they were absolutely amazing. The room was quite large. The bathroom space included a shower and a tub with plenty of room. The bed linens and pillows were luxurious. Each night we had 'turn down service' with chocolate on the bedside, soft music playing and lights dimmed for our return. The breakfasts and lunch were equally delicious. Pool was warm enough to swim as was the hot tub. Plenty of poolside chairs and towels. The gym was a little difficult to find as it is a few blocks into town. Wish the front desk had told me which side of the street it was on because it was nearly impossible to find until our third try. The address doesn't signal a shopping center (front desk: pls tell people it's behind cornerstone cellars!). The walk into town is nice and short. The hotel is more suited to adults and couples rather than kids as it should be given how posh it is. We did not have any issues with bedroom staying dark in the arly morning as some others have complained about. The Spa is exclusively for hotel guests and was quite nice. We will absolutely be back!!!

Dear Ivy,

Thank you for all of the positive feedback on your recent stay. Glad you found the hotel services and staff amazing. We will ensure in the future to provide specific instructions to the fitness center in town. It is only two short blocks away and does provide all of our guests complimentary access.

Thank you again for staying with us. We look forward to your next visit.

Recently stayed for 5 nights. Room was facing the creek on the ground floor with lovely vaulted ceiling, stone fireplace and patio. Bed was super comfortable and bathroom was wonderful. The lack of storage space for clothing- closet was walk in but the hanging rack was small and just 2 small drawers for clothes. The air conditioning unit sounded like an airplane taking off and did not make for a very nice atmosphere to sit on the patio.
Having said that- the staff and service were excellent and meals in the Hopper Kitchen were much enjoyed. Location of the hotel is prime and within walking distance to many tasting rooms, shops and dining options. Staff is always on hand to offer transportation to and from local attractions.

When I arrived at the hotel to check in, I was surprised by surroundings of the hotel. It looked as if everything was brand new.
The welcome by the recetion desk staff was very warm and made me already feel at home.
When looking around in the lobby of the hotel, although lobby is not the right word for the reception area of this hotel, it all looked like it was a picture in one of these interior decoration books.
Although at home? The surprise still had to come.
When I entered my room on the first floor of one of the buildings, I entered a long hall way and from the front door i looked into a nice fire place. A fire place in my bedroom? It turned out to be not just a fire place but my room was foreseen of a complete sitting area with a big flat screen mounted to the wall.
Further there was a huge king size bed covered with pillows.
The surprise however was not yet finished. What a bathroom. When I walked into the bathroom the first thing I noticed was the double sink, the jacuzi and the shower.
Again this room and bathroom seemed to be a picture in on of these interior design books.
After a relaxing night I had breakfast in the hotel and this was of the same quality level as the rest of the hotel.
The hotel is in walking distance from the restaurants for which Yountville is so well known around the word. However it is easier to find a room in this hotel than it is in the French Laundry.
For me there is only one word for this hotel: Amazing.
If you plan to stay in the Napa valley, this hotel should be on your list to stay.
